i have bought two rare records from him and totally satisfied
i did make an offer that was a lot less than his ebay price but still a

i have no complaints but do agree his records for the most part are not
museum quality but like anything on ebay you do it with cavet emptor

I knew he was near St. Louis. This is odd as Richard knows what these are
worth. He has very poor eye sight so one not prone to fishing. I split a

2011-05-17 Thread Rick
He describes the record as " I CAN GURANTEE THERE MUSEUM QUALITY AS BEING THE
RAREST AND NOT SOLD "ALL MESSED UP" . There is no grading either. So to
protect himself this record is museum quality only in the sense of being rare
not necessarily museum quality as being a grade "E+" record. What he means by
not sold as all messed up could mean a lot of things.

He may just be crazy not know what these things are worth.. Most of his sales
were $25 dollar Champion/Gennett Country and Western records and if you are
looking for a particular title or record 25 bucks is not that much to pop for.
How he came up with 12,500 for that Victor Sousa record I just can't imagineā€¦

This guy is not only a joke, but something very strange is going on with
his eBay account. I checked his feedback - back to January of this year
and found a very peculiar situation. One "buyer" named "lgirmscher" has
supposedly bought and left positive feedback for 79 records since January
13 and paid anywhere from $24.99 - $83.52 each. The peculiar part of this
is that lgirmscher had a rating of (209) purchases on Jan. 13 and on May
13 after buying at least 79 items, his rating is still (209)... what's up
with that? There are other multiple purchasers, but this one stands out as
odd. I can't imagine buying any records at his prices, but someone bought
one for $750 - left negative feedback, claiming the record was a repro and
eBay backed this seller.

The feedback number isn't strange if he did indeed buy only from this
gentleman. You can but 5000 items, if they're all from the same
buyer/seller it counts your feedback score as "one".

However, not buying or selling anything to or from anyone else in that time
period IS very very suspicious.

I would also think that if someone is going to try and move an item for four
or five figures they could have some better pictures, at least a description
of the particular item, and some sort of grading.

I mean even "I" could scan some photos of labels out of a book and go on
eBay claiming to sell rare records.

feedback, claiming the record was a repro and eBay backed this seller.
