HI Brad
I am in California, and I won't be going to the Wayne show.
Thanks anyhow!
John

John-  I don't know where you live, but I have a set up I've wanted to put
together for years and just haven't gotten to it.  It's an upright Brunswick
with the Ultona head. It originally was a crank machine, but I obtained a
genuine Brunswick electric motor, complete with bedplate that's identical to
what was originally in the machine, speed control, etc.   It would  be a great
way to play both lateral and verticals, without having to constantly wind the
machine. I also have the original spring motor that can go with it--spring is
broken.  It's in Virginia--  I'll be going to the Wayne, NJ show in April and
could take it with me if anyone is interested.
Brad

I might recommend you also look for a Brunswick 101 portable, their first,
which
ad a swivelling soundbox.  Some of the late teens table model Sears Silvertones
ere similarly fitted, and a few had separate lateral and vertical soundboxes
ith a holder on the cabinet  for the one not in use. Those aren't bad little
achines.   Philip Carli

Hello all
am looking for a phonograph that will play vertical cut records such as Pathe.
deally I would like to have one of the small tabletop Pathe internal horn
achines, but would consider a Brunswick with Ultona that plays lateral and
ertical (Diamond Disc not required). Or if there is any other small tabletop
hat will play verticals, I am open to it.

HI Kurt
Thanks but it is too big and the shipping would probably kill me! That's a
great machine though. I need something small.
Thanks again
