[PHP-WEBMASTER] [PHP-BUG] Bug #70411 [NEW]: [Bug tracker] "Fixed in SVN" snippets are wrongly assigned

2015-09-02 Thread c...@php.net
From: cmb
Operating system: n/a
PHP version: Irrelevant
Package: Website problem
Bug Type: Bug
Bug description:[Bug tracker] "Fixed in SVN" snippets are wrongly assigned

Description:

It seems that the "Fixed in SVN" quickfix snippets are sometimes
wrongly assigned. Apparently, that is due to checking only the
"Package" field, which is often set to something else than
"Documentation Problem" when the "Bug Type" is "Documentation
Problem".

Test script:
---
Package: Strings related
Bug Type: Documentation Problem
Quick Fix: Fixed in SVN (closed)

Expected result:

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation
better.

Actual result:
--
The fix for this bug has been committed.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at
http://snaps.php.net/.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better.

[PHP-WEBMASTER] [PHP-BUG] Bug #70464 [NEW]: [Bug tracker] Changes to "Bug Type" don't survive preview

Description:

In the developer mode of the bug tracker, changing "Bug Type" and
then previewing, resets the "Bug Type" to the old value. From what
I can tell, all other fields survive the preview.

[PHP-WEBMASTER] [PHP-BUG] Bug #72328 [NEW]: windows.php.net/download still offers PHP 5.4

From: cmb
Operating system: Windows
PHP version: Irrelevant
Package: Website problem
Bug Type: Bug
Bug description:windows.php.net/download still offers PHP 5.4

Description:

PHP 5.4 has reached its EOL in September 2015. However,
windows.php.net/download still offers PHP 5.4.45 for download. In
my opinion, that version should be removed, as its still available
in the archive.

[PHP-WEBMASTER] [PHP-BUG] Req #73051 [NEW]: Improve misleading markup

2016-09-08 Thread c...@php.net
From: cmb
Operating system: *
PHP version: Irrelevant
Package: Website problem
Bug Type: Feature/Change Request
Bug description:Improve misleading markup

Description:

I've just rejected a PhDOE submission for the German
file_put_contents() man page:

> - Der Wert von flags kann eine Kombination der
folgenden Flags sein, verbunden mit dem binären
OR(|)
> + Der Wert von flags kann eine Kombination der
folgenden Flags sein, verbunden mit dem binären OR(|)

Obviously, the issue is that `|` looks like `/` in italics, what
is confusing. Therefore I suggest to style  differently;
a non-proportional font might be better anyway, and perhaps a
(slightly) different background color would also be appropriate.

[PHP-WEBMASTER] [PHP-BUG] Req #75109 [NEW]: VC 15 pecl deps missing

2017-08-23 Thread c...@php.net
From: cmb
Operating system: Windows
PHP version: Irrelevant
Package: Website problem
Bug Type: Feature/Change Request
Bug description:VC 15 pecl deps missing

Description:

On http://windows.php.net/downloads/pecl/deps/ prebuilt
dependencies for PECL packages can be found, but it seems the most
recent supported MSVC is 14.

It would be nice to have also prebuilt packages for VC 15 (aka.
Visual Studio 2017).

It seems to me that this is only for PHP core depencies, i.e.
for what is available via
<http://windows.php.net/downloads/php-sdk/deps/>.

[PHP-WEBMASTER] [PHP-BUG] Bug #69266 [NEW]: character encoding issues on people.php.net

2015-03-19 Thread c...@php.net
From: cmb
Operating system: n/a
PHP version: Irrelevant
Package: Website problem
Bug Type: Bug
Bug description:character encoding issues on people.php.net

Description:

Apparently, character encodings are mixed up on people.php.net.
See, for instance, , where the
name of "Johannes Schlüter" is UTF-8 encoded, while the name of
"Peter Hüwe" is not (the ü is substituted by a REPLACEMENT
CHARACTER).

Furthermore the Content-Type of the document is specified as
"text/html" only (without a charset), so contemporary browsers are
supposed to assume UTF-8, while older browsers might assume
another character encoding.

[PHP-WEBMASTER] [PHP-BUG] Bug #76718 [NEW]: Ticket subscriptions are broken

2018-08-07 Thread c...@php.net
From: cmb
Operating system: *

Package: Website problem
Bug Type: Bug
Bug description:Ticket subscriptions are broken

Description:

Since a while (likely since the bugtracker moved to another box),
subscribing to a ticket (Add Comment → Subscribe) no longer works.
I'm not sure whether the subscription itself fails (there is no
error shown, though), or whether the notification mails are not
sent.

Notification mails still work for the bug reporter and the
assignee, from what I can tell.

[web-bugs] Login after logout immediately logs out again

I've inadvertently logged out from the bug tracker, so I clicked
login, entered my credentials, submitted the form, and got:

You've been logged out.

The problem is that successful login redirects to the previous
page, which is a nice feature, but certainly not in this case.

qa.php.net offers to view formerly uploaded PFTT test reports[1],

IMHO best is to get rid of h1::after, h2::after, h3::after rules for painting
the dotted border and put the border-bottom rule directly to the h1,h2,h3 CSS
rules.

This is cleaner and there is no content: ' '; hack necessary. Maybe the old
opera applied it to the element instead of ::after pseudo element.

Aha, Austin. Were you there last year in Portland? I was. And I will be there
in Amsterdam (my home town).

I'm not sure. I'll reopen this and poke at it when I have a chance
post-DrupalCon.

[2014-06-04 12:53:46] phpdev at ehrhardt dot nl

Hi Adam,

The status is at wontfix, but I am wondering which browsers need the 'content:
" "'; the header.title styles. To me it seems quite logical that Opera shows
nothing when you replace the content with a space.
