nobody is translating the file 'http.xml' in italian at the moment.

If you can setup your CVS client installation, go on and upload the
translation to the appropriate location, if not, send it to me and i will
upload it in the evening (Europe time).

Hi Marco Cucinato,

I know that when I have to translate a file first I refer to Luca
Perugini.
But unluckily, I think that Luca Perugini is busy with work, so he can't
reply straight away.
For example I have written more than one e-mail to him to find out the
regolamentation
policy of the work group, but I haven't received any feedback.
I hope that there aren't any problems with the e-mail and that he is in
holiday for 1st November.

I have tried to add a file because I' m very impatient to begin work :)

Next week I will be in Frankfurt at the PHP Conference,
so if is not possible otherwise ... I will wait.

Thanks for all, Alan D'Angelo.

Wait. You have not been officially assigned the http.xml IT
translation. Please, when you want to translate a file, first
refer to Luca Perugini, who is the coordinator an will update the
Translators file with your name.
If you translate and update a file without being assigned and
without looking at the Translators file, you can conflict with
anoter translator.
You can translate & update a file only if you're in status
(A)ssigned in that file.

You do need a copy checked out with YOUR username, otherwise, you will use
the readonly username. If you do not specify -d (and you don't when you
add), cvs will take the username from the CVS subdirectory.

It depends on what you have requested your CVS account
for. If you have requested for eg. working on the PEAR
project, than you probably only have write Karma to the
PEAR tree. If you asked for phpdoc karma (entered
in the text box, that you would like to work in the
phpdoc team), it is probably an error, that you have
no phpdoc karma yet. Please ask for Karma at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

after to have compiled the form http://www.php.net/cvs-php.php

The CVS system works with Karma settings. You need to have
phpdoc Karma to write to phpdoc. What Karma you have
requested with your CVS user name? If you have no Karma
for a repository, you can ask for at [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[PHP-DOC] cvs [server aborted]

2001-11-01 Thread alan

I have translate the file http.xml
I have executed the cvs login with my username

cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/repository

and have insert the password
but when I write the instruction

cvs add http.xml

from directory phpdoc/it/functions
cvs answers

cvs [server aborted]: "add" requires write access to the repository

My account it does not have the appropriate permissions or I have mistaken
something?
