Maybe you could take a bright flashlight and shine it inside the camera and see if anything is shiny? ..snip.. Also, in some of my shots (not these), in the bottom right corner I get a diagonal line that is curved and varies in thickness/shape. Is this a Huh -- is the line (in the prints, that is) light, dark, other? It sounds like a light leak (but might be something else, like film bent during processing). Re: [pinhole-discussion] ballpark pinhole exposures for a gift pinhole camera?
Just an intuitive guess, but the times sound a little on the short side. For night exposures, I expose from a half hour after sunset until a half hour before sunrise. Gives decent shadow detail without washing evrything out. - Original Message - From: Philip willarney pwillar...@yahoo.com To: pinhole-discussion@p at ??? [pinhole-discussion] need pinhole advice
I also sent this yesterday, but it didn't make it to the list. . I uploaded 2 photos to the gallery: traci_bunkers_2_1 traci_bunkers_1 Near the upper right I get an area that is lighter than the rest of the pictures. What causes this and how can I fix it? I took this with a Holga that I modified to be a pinhole with approx F/230. This was shot on Kodak 160VC. The exposures were approx 4 secs. Also, in some of my shots (not these), in the bottom right corner I get a diagonal line that is curved and varies in thickness/shape. Is this a reflection off of something in the camera? I sprayed the inside with a flat black paint and sharpied the shutter. I haven't noticed this thing when I shoot with black white film. I sent this message yesterday, but it didn't make it to the list. This might be covered on the site somewhere, but I couldn't find it. I mistakenly uploaded the same photo twice, and can't find out how to delete one of them. Anyone know? -- Traci Bunkers Bonkers Handmade Originals http://www.bonkersfiber.com
