Once directly on a machine and another time the Xorg exported via x11vnc. I dont think so but it might be possible that your Sarge somehow influences this. I have no sarge system anymore. I'm on etch now. Would it be possible to test on a system with etch as base system? I tag this bug now as "unreproducible" because I cant reproduce it and "help" to make others aware this bug needs more input from others. package classpath reopen 413295 thanks I did apt-get dist-upgrade in my unstable chroot and I now have classpath version "2:0.95-1". However, I still don't see the menubar. The problem is reproducible in a vncserver started inside the chroot so my normal sarge system should not affect the behavior.
