RE: Anyone looked at the DOC conversion?
I have downloaded the latest JPluck so that I can work off the latest source. Does anyone have a DOC file with bookmarks in it I can use to test converting bookmarks? I don't have a DOC reader(thus this patch). Thanks, Mark ___ plucker-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-dev
Re: Anyone looked at the DOC conversion?
I got ride of the rest since it is not necessary anymore. I got it working (are you using my code to decode the PalmDoc?) and I really like it! I would like to get the bookmarks (if any) converted as well please! I sure hope this can be added to the JPluck distribution! If you open a command prompt and run something like D:\Java\JDK1.4\bin\java.exe -jar "C:\Program Files\JPluck 2\jpluckx.jar" it should print out a bunch of diagnostics including a listing of each text record in the DOC file as it converts them when you tell it to convert the file. Ok, so how do I go about doing this? Do I need to create an HTML page with a link to the PalmDoc? Jeffrey ___ plucker-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.rubberchicken.org/mailman/listinfo/plucker-dev

Re: Anyone looked at the DOC conversion?
I would be interest in testing this! And yes - bookmarks would be a very big plus. What was the link? What version of JPluck is it based on? Will it be easy to add it to the current (2.1.5a) codebase? Jeffrey Mark Lambert said the following on 4/8/2004 11:08 AM: Just wondering if anyone had tried the DOC-to-plkr version of JPluck. Bugs would be appreciated. If there is interest, I can also look at converting bookmarks. The code is there to extract them from the DOC file it would just be a matter of hooking it up (somehow).
