I have one of those too, I didn't think anyone else did anymore, they use
regular RAM sticks from all appearances, you could try swapping it out.
Mine's getting older too, I had to superglue a broken shaft a couple months
ago, but it's been holding up well now! I buy my ink for my printer from
QBSI, they may be able to repair it too, or know of repair shops for it?
They're all the way up in Kent however. Here's their information (I also
think they have the best prices on ink around):

Also, those printers were designed in Wilsonville AFAIK, so they really
should be repairable here.

Is the memory removable, or hard soldered? My first suggestion would be
to remove the memory or, if it's in more than one stick, swap places.
Just re-seating is often a cure.

As for repair places, the old Tektronix buildings in Wilsonville are now
Xerox buildings, and one of them is where they remanufacture lease
returns. That is, that statement was true at least several years ago
when I went there to pick up the remanufactured printer that I bought
from them on eBay. I don't know if they have a repair facility there as
well, but it's the first place I would call.

There is also The Printer Place in close-in SE Portland. They'll work
on almost any kind of printer, including getting parts for you to
repair it yourself.
