I vaguely recall double-clicking on a .docx file on a pen drive and it opened in the browser via Google Workspace (I don't have a Chromebook handy to verify it) Give it a try and let us know if it works. (PS Chromebooks do not have a lot of storage. I'm not sure one could install the entire LibreOffice suite via the Linux Developer shell) -- Arun Khan --- PLUG-discuss mailing list: PLUG-discuss@lists.phxlinux.org To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: https://lists.phxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
Re: chromebook and libreoffice
ChromeOS Flex is very solid, I have it running on an old Macbook Air and I have set up Linux support so it also has access to LibreOffice and Vivaldi browser. It is now easier than ever to turn an old laptop into a Chromebook and it can be surprising how peppy they can be.
