It's possible this SoftSqueeze/Shadowplay approach will not help ptorpey
if his screen reader works by identifying text on the PC display. The
SoftSqueeze screen may be considered a graphic and hence unreadable.

I haven't installed the wav2cmd plugins so I'm gueessing.

Ptorpey wanted to get to access via web the Plugins menu on SB as it
seems WAV2CMD can only be enabled from the Plugins menu.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [ANNOUNCE] J River Media Center Integration V1.0

2007-06-25 Thread Craig

MusicMon,

The easiest way is just to turn the volume slider down in the MC zone
that is controlling your Squeezebox. If you don't have a volume slider
then check your MC 'Volume Options' because it's probably set to
'System Volume'.

In MC2Slim make sure that 'Use MC Volume' is unchecked under the 'Media
Center' menu.

It looks as if you have the URL syntax wrong for the arrivals case. The
URL I see when I use the web site is
...?T=startstationP=deststation

However I'm obviously missing something because when I put this in at
line 338 in route.pm it didn't work - something about a temporary error
in the log file.

Don't have time to look further just now, but hope this helps.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Wave Input plugin v1.00

2007-06-25 Thread juniper

Maybe this is becoming a new thread. I have now found ShadowPlay -two
versions ShadowPlay and ShadowPLayP the first appears to be for
Slimserver 7.0 and the other for Slimserver 6.5.b.

This is what I have:

SlimServer Version: 6.5.3 - 12259 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252
Server IP address: 192.168.178.20
Perl Version: 5.8.8 MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt

I assume therefore that I should look at ShadowplayP. I cant discover
any installation instructions. Can anybody please advise how I should
install it?

Many Thanks

[SlimDevices: Plugins] SQLPlaylist Random Album: some albums start in the middle?

2007-06-25 Thread Marc Sherman
I've just started playing with the SQLPlaylist plugin, and I'm seeing
some strange behaviour with the Random Album playlist. Sometimes, an
album will start in the middle, instead of at the beginning.

If I sit and hammer the Play Playlist button over and over again, it
will happen occasionally, but not all the time. The weird thing is, it
always seems to happen to the same albums, too. Perhaps it's something
strange with the way those albums are tagged?

Has anyone else ever seen this behaviour? Erland, is there any logging
or other information you'd like me to collect for more details?

You can turn on the logging parameters in the bottom of the SQL
PLaylists and Dynamic Playlists sections in the Server
Settings/Plugins dialog. Look at the log directly after the problem
occurs, you will find the log at:http://localhost:9000/log.txt
Post the log in this thread or send it to me by mail.

If the logging is correctly setup you should see some log entries

New in this release is support for playback of Ambisonics B-Format

general-purpose Ambisonics processor (yet) since the only output is
two-channel, but some of you might find it fun to play with. Some of
the samples at http://www.ambisonia.com/ are quite good.
