There are only two lines of perl code that need to be updated so if there's a way to edit the bin file (not sure what format a bin is, etc) or edit the file once installed on the NAS... If worst comes to worse come SlimServer 7.0 Infrant will be forced to use the new version (as long as they include SDT)... but that probably wouldnt happen until Oct/Nov at best. Good luck. I think I'm out of luck then for now since the file I get from Infrant is compiled ( SlimServer_PluginPack_0.5.bin ) and then once installed to the Infrant NAS I have no idea how to get to it / edit it... I will post over in the Infrant forum however. Well the answer is quite simple, simply try them all and after that try modified versions of them according to what you feel needs to be changed. I have SuperDateTime running great for local weather and some stock information. However, although I have configured several sports optionns (MLB, NBA, & NFL) I do not get any sports information. Is this feature running OK on this version? (I'm hoping so because I have the obvious problem of limited updates to the code... I found something that mitigates this problem. At least on the two linux systems I use, Gentoo and Ubuntu 7.04. I simply changed the Audio mixer in softsqueeze from my sound card to Java Sound Audio Engine. I think your problem is now mplayer not handling your audio output and there is no problem processing RealAudio. >From your descriptions, this is what happens now: 1. Mplayer playing can process a RealAudio stream and save to a WAV file. The WAV file can be played by another device so it is OK 2. When mplayer is used to play a valid WAV file - but output is heard. Can mplayer play any audio file on your system ?
