Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Slimserver v7 and Alien BBC v2
AlienBBC should be in Internet Radio menu as before. It would help if your provided info such as 1. What OS are you using 2. What AlienBBC tar/zip/exe did you use 3. How Where you installed the AlienBBC files 4. Is there an AlienBBC entry in Server Settings/Extras and is it enabled. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40635 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Slimserver v7 and Alien BBC v2
I don't have Vista but there was a change in naming of directories and Squeezecenter may have been installed in a directory called SqueezeCenter and not Slimserver. You can check where Plugins should be installed by making sure that path you used is the same as the path for the Plugins directory in the Server Settings/Status window. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40635 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Unable to start Slimscrobbler
There's no mention of SlimScrobbler in this log so the plugin is probably not installed in the correct place. Installation directory structure should look like this: slimserver install/Server/Plugins/SlimScrobbler/Plugin.pm James NOTICE: If received in error, please destroy and notify sender. I need to clarify that my alien v2 beta 7.0 plugin is installed at C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\Plugins\Alien and it works perfectly in SC7. Ginnser, please try to stop SC, restart SC, go to Server Settings\Extras, the alien bbc plugin should be there. Or, restart you PC, check at Server Settings\Extras. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] SlimNAS 0.9 Beta forSqueezeCenter 7.0
Where/when do you get this? In which file? After rebooting and find out Squeezecenter is missing, I opened the Command from the web interface, entered the following: /usr/local/bin/php -f /mnt/disk2/slimnas/usr/www/services_slimserver_init.php e obtained: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '*' in /usr/local/bin/php on line 1150 from the browser. Maybe the missing of the extension is due to that error, I get on my system. But still not sure. [SlimDevices: Plugins] IR Blaster and squeezeCenter 7.x and Jive
Background: On Transporter IR blaster sends out IR for Power on, Power off, Volume up, Volume down. 4 different codes. Transporter volume set fixed at 100 as it plays mostly encoded music (DTS). Three remote devices are used, the standard Slim remote, A Philips Pronto which is fully functional with 2 way IP to SqueezeCenter over TCP using CLI, and the Jive remote. With regard to power on/off; All three remotes operate as designed. The Transporter sends out the proper IR code when it is powered on or powered off, independent of which remote is used. When doing a volume up or volume down, the Transporter sends out the Proper IR codes for the Audio processor to control the volume when it is the normal slim remote driving it, or the Philps Pronto which sends CLI commands for mixer volume up or down +5 units to SqueezeCenter. The problem is with the Jive platform. It always causes the Transporter to send out the Volume Up IR command independent of whether the volume up or down button was pressed. I assume it is commanding Squeezecenter but probably not using the CLI interface so it can be the plugin. -- barrygordon barrygordon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7468 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40658 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Slimserver v7 and Alien BBC v2
The current AlienBBC beta installs to C:\Program Files\SlimServer but by default SqueezeCenter installs to C:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter. Thanks for your reply. I have tried what you suggested and it doesn't seem to be a permissions or a cache issue. I am still not clear where I should be putting the plugins now... [SlimDevices: Plugins] Help with AlienBBC, and will pay for it
Okay, a year of trying on two Macs (G3 iBook and now my new Intel iMac) and I can't get AlienBBC to run. I've owned Macs since 1986, been messing with computers since 1983 and am not dumb, or not very. I will pay whatever is the going rate for friendly public commons open source support to get it running on this Mac. This is not a joke. I want my BBC, and not just upstairs at the desk. -- rzahradnik rzahradnik's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9347 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40662 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Sirius and FLAC audio over SSH... STUTTERING AUDIO!!
Don't know about Sirius, but FLAC over an SSH tunnel through a DSL connection is more than likely to stutter. In my experience 44.1 KHz / 16bit FLACs need around 1000 - 1200 kbps sustained to stream reliably (and I would double those numbers to be certain). You probably want SlimServer to dynamically transcode those FLACs to mp3s for remote streaming. -- Nikhil Nikhil's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=993 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40661 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
