Thank you Erland (and Michael). 1) Still IO error at startup reading AppData\Local\Temp\par-Bruno\cache- ...\HiRes.dll I've deleted par directory (according Michael recommandation) and no more IO error at startup, but seems recreated and subsequent restart shows same IO erro on hires.dll. What is this file ? 2) According to the Customscan (V2.5) detailed logs the following process are taking time: - checking charset on tables - update custom scan track data based on urls I only need to scan custom tag and mixed tags, is it possible i get so misconfiguration in my setup ? Do you have a suggestion as to how to incorporate system activity monitoring into SrvrPowerCtrl...and in a way that is cross platform? I suppose one way would be to provide a series of system service/deamon executables that monitor system activity and then set & clear SrvrPowerCtrl blocks via the cli. This is tending towards the approach that Epoch1970 suggested several weeks ago. E.G. for windows, a service that monitors network, keyboard & mouse activity and sets a block on activity and clears it after a period of no activity. I think I could even write such a service for windows, given enough free time. I'd be at sea trying to write one for linux, however...and I wouldn't even know where to start in terms of one for OSX. -- gharris999 gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Just having these visions of my server suspending in the middle > of a big transfer of FLAC files Thanks. No, there's no mechanism to check for server activity besides SB playback or firmware updating. However, it's very easy to temporarily block SrvrPowerCtrl's actions, using any of 3 different methods: 1). On linux, if SrvrPowerCtrl sees that the file "/var/lock/sc-block exists, it won't take any action. (This will change with the next version of SrvrPowerCtrl: for linux it will be /var/lock/spc-block, for Windows, it will be C:\Windows\temp\spc-block) 2). You can use either the IR remote or an SBC to block actions by selecting a menu item. 3). You can issue a CLI request ("srvrpowerctrl setblock reason viacli"). Any of those can be used to temporarily block on-idle shutdown/suspend/hibernation/etc.. What sort of a system are you transferring those flacs from? Windows? If so, you could put a couple of shortcuts on your quick-launch task bar to block and unblock. Or, if you use a batch file for transferring the flacs to the server, you could do what I do: include a ping-check to see if the server is awake...and if not, WOL it; then set a block; transfer the files; clear the block. This is the batch file I use for copying flacs to my server. It copies the flac in question to the music server and also to a backup music drive. You'd need to change the details (ip address of your server, mac address, source path head to your rip directory, etc. CopyFlacToSCServer.cmd Code: @echo off :checkwake rem Check the server status.. ping scserver -n 1 -w 10 >NUL if errorlevel 1 goto wakeup goto awake :wakeup echo Server is asleep...attempting to wake it up.. rem Wakeup the server.. %windir%\util\wolcmd.exe AABBCCDDEEFF 192.168.0.255 255.255.255.0 7 >NUL sleep 15 goto checkwake :awake :setblock %windir%\util\SCCliTool.exe srvrpowerctrl setblock nada viacli -h scserver -p 9090 set RIPSOURCE=E:\Recordings\Music_New\ :CHGDIR rem change to the input file drive and directory.. %~d1 cd "%~p1" if "%CD%\"=="%~dp1" goto CHK_FLAC echo Sorry. You could make a shortcut to this batch file and just drag & drop the flac onto it to initiate the copy. Or, as I do, call the script from another script...in my case, I always rip flacs to single-file-per-cd images so I have a "post rip" batch file that fixes up the cuesheet with genre & composer info, embeds the cuesheet, embeds the lyrics, embeds the rip log, calculates the replay-gain, embeds the coverartand THEN copies the processed flac to the server and the backup. -- gharris999 gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Just having these visions of my server suspending in the middle of a big transfer of FLAC files Thanks. -- aubuti aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

I'll have to check how I can get hold of the ratings (if I can get them with the songinfo query). If "yes", I'll accept it, if "no",... well, will be harder. A workaround in 1.1 would definitely to browse through TrackStat. That will give you pretty much exactly what you want :-) -- pippin --- see iPeng at penguinlovesmusic.com pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CDplayer plugin
The 404 after editing usually means the file has a syntax error and that has stopped the Plugin from being loaded. I think you should not be patching the file by editing but replacing it with the attached file in the post. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47288 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CDplayer plugin
Thanks BPA, that's what I thought... Tried adding those two lines in last night after removing and reinstalling cdplayer. Restarting squeezecenter. CDPlayer no longer shows up under "extras" - and in the settings/plugins section - if i click on cdplayer "settings" I get: "404 Not Found: settings/plugins/CDplayer/settings/basic.html" I also tried replacing the cdhandler.pm with the attachment from post 137, and got the same message. Sorry for all the questions - and thanks if you can help out! -- lumpy lumpy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47288 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Could you enable debug logging on plugin.customscan in SqueezeCenter Settings/Logging and make sure to check the option that logging settings should be used at next restart and then restart SqueezeCenter and post the log after Custom Scan refresh has finished. With debug logging enabled, you should see some messages in the log that specifies how long time each part of the refresh operation takes. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) 'My download page' (http://erland.isaksson.info/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=59944 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: TunerPlay for Windows plugin - FM radio from analog TV/FM Tuner card.
The problem I had on my XP system was fixed by updating some DLLs so it is not your problem. So I am still looking. The audio problem could be caused by some security s/w blocking socketwrapper.exe. Do you use AlienBBC ? If AlienBBC works on your systems then it means socketwrapper is not being blocked. If not, what security s/w are you using ? -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=57692 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

I'm guessing so. Try it and tell us how it works. I haven't tested StartHidden on anything but executables so you may have to tinker with what actually goes in the args: just the script name, or wscript.exe AND the script name. -- gharris999 gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Squeezeslave wont connect after sleep
I've seen a similar issue if the machine running squeezecenter is powered off. In this case squeezeslave needs to be restarted. I suspect it's related to what you're seeing. Try running squeezeslave in a command window so you can see any error messages it throws. Let the machine go to sleep and see if you have a similiar error message in the cmd window after wakeup. Error in recv 1: Bad file descriptor Please try this using version 0.8-12, it's not the most current release, but it is the most tested. -- ralphy ralphy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3484 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=59930 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SqueezeScrobbler 1.2.2 not working in SqueezeCenter 7.3.2
I have a problem with Squeezescrobler. I have version 1.2.3 on SC 7.3.2. Problem: - "Similar Artist Radio" doesn't work. When I enter an artist, and press play the station apears on my playlist, and the progres bar starts to run, but no music is played, nor is track info displayed. "Neighbours" and "recommended" work. Stations stored as favourites don't work. Entering a station name like "artist/Norah%2BJones/similarartists" works too.
