[SlimDevices: Plugins] New XM Plug-in: Question & Comment
I just installed the new XM plug-in -- THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! It works great. However, I have one question/suggestion, and a comment: 1) I noticed that there is no little "heart" icon when you browse through your presets (for example), or when you tune a station. As a result, I'm not aware of any way to add XM stations to "favorites." Is there? This would be a suggestion for the next version, but I'm wondering if there is a "URL" so-to-speak that I can use to add an XM station into favorites. 2) I would like to donate to the cause as an expression of gratitude for this plug-in -- but I don't see any Paypal link (say) in the google code page for the plug-in. Can you guys add one? Thanks again!!! - Mike. -- miked miked's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4442 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=64108 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'd be happy to incorporate any code they come up with...as long as it doesn't interfere with SrvrPowerCtrl working on non WHS systems. Another possible approach: SrvrPowerCtrl checks the status of all the players (and other things too) once very minute. If LightsOut would rather get a "not idle" signal rather than a "idle" signal, we could send one there. Then, as soon as SqueezeServer is idle, LightsOut will know about it and can start its countdown. I think this might make the logic a bit more straight forward and avoid the problem you point out above. -- gharris999 gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Browse: "Unable to reach download site"
ok, thanks for the help - it wasn't obvious to me that i had to create a new menu in order to download an existing menu from other users. of course when i do that i get a similar error: "Unable to contact download/publish site" I can't think of anything with my setup that could cause issues - i've tried several times. I'm on a NAS that's on the LAN which has internet access. I don't have any web proxy configured, but I've customized the web server port number from the default 9000. Hum - thats interesting - will look at it.. Don't see why that should be! BTW - yes the current changes to extension downloader are work in progress, and the web page is a temporary position. However underlying this there has been a change to plugin manager so that downloading and installation is part of the core server and include the ability to poll for updates for plugins every 24 hours. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Extension Downloader - unlucky 13?
Is there a limit to the number of repositories that can be added to the ED screen? Before the recent change to 7.4 sqlite, I had all the repos urls added to the ED setup. (23 or more) Moving to the new 7.4 - I've never been able to get the ED gui to load. After installing the latest nightly, I deleted the extensions.pref file and the ED gui loaded. But it seems to only take a meximum of 13 repo urls before it stops presenting a new input box. And if I navigate away from the ED setup, I can't return back. >From the log: [09-06-03 22:39:01.5795] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1180) Warning: [22:39:01.5788] Use of uninitialized value in subroutine entry at /Slim/Networking/IO/Select.pm line 116. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hi pippin, Thanks for your excellent remote control! One question regarding connection status, though. When I start up iPeng, the statusbar shows "not connected", then "you player wasn't recognised" (or similar wording) and then finally the name of one of my players. Also, when it's all working and I have a player playing some tunes, I close the iPhone. If I then re-open iPeng again (by activating iPhone again), I get to see the iPeng screen where I left it (usually at Now Playing). This indicates all buttons are functional, whilst in practice there still needs to be some syning or other connection handshake. As a quick example, when I fire up iPeng again it shows Now Playing and I can move the volume slider on my player, however this doesn't have any effect. Even, after a couple of seconds, the volume slider is reset to the old level. Could these things be solved by making a tiny connection icon (green dot, red dot, orange dot)? Red dot: no connection Orange dot: in progress of connecting Green dot: connected Thanks again. sderuiter -- sderuiter sderuiter's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21090 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
