At a guess the URL you have used is wrong. Not iTunes. The use case is to play songs that are on an iPhone or iPod touch through another device with analog audio in while controlling the whole thing through yet another device that communicates to a server with SqueezeCenter on it. There is a mistake in the included libraries in the zip file - use the extension downloader to install 3.9. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62060 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Softsqueeze 3.9 beta for testing
I just over-wrote the files in the Softsqueeze folder, as instructed, with the new Beta version. Unfortunately, the application will no longer start. Also, I noted that the Java that was installed on my systemwas 32-bit - and I'm running 64-bit Vista. After getting this error, I decided to uninstall the 32-bit Java and to install 64-bit Java. The Squeezecenter asks me to install Java - I guess this software is not recognized. (The Squeezecenter is on a Windows Home Server machine.) -- Lyster Lyster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17183 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62060 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

It won't help on the "iPhone shuts off WiFi after 30min" issue though. There will be better solutions in 1.2, for once the 30min barrier will no longer be one since Apple fixed a bug around this in 3.0 -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote, at penguinlovesmusic.com pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
