The log entries are dated Nov 12th - 8 days ago. It does look like you have some issues with your installation, which will be worth fixing before looking into PlaylistMan. It looks like the database couldn't be accessed, so I'm amazed it works at all. It could be that you have some anti-virus/firewall software that is blocking access to .myi files, which the SbS database tries to write to. You need to exclude this file type for scanning from those apps. The PlaylistMan plugin errors are to do with not being able to read the preferences correctly. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: (not so) Sirius Plugin
As much as I hate reinventing the wheel, I have, but I'm happy to say I have a Sirius plugin that once again works for both US and Canadian subscribers and for subscribers without a premium subscription. http://notsosirius-squeezecenter.googlecode.com/ It more or less mimics the look and feel of the official Sirius plugin from Logitech. So in that respect it's not as feature rich as Greg Brown's SiriusRadio plugin. But that plugin stopped working for Canadian users a while back. It also didn't work with version 7.4 and as of last weekend it no longer worked for US users as Sirius revamped their site. I tried to simply fix the bugs, but I got frustrated and decided to just start over. There are probably new bugs, but it's at a usable point so I figured I'd get it out there and get some feedback. Check the site, there are a few known issues, but no show stoppers. If you have problems getting it working please let me know. If you don't have any problems, I like hearing that too. Enjoy. No, I've never seen this particular error, but I've seen plenty of flaky behavior on the part of the extension downloader. With your NAS, just installing SrvrPowerCtrl won't do anything. SrvrPowerCtrl depends on SYSTEM commands that are unique to your NAS's operating system. SrvrPowerCtrl has to be specifically configured to use those commands. If you can't enable SrvrPowerCtrl through the plugin checkbox, check the server.log to see if you can see any error messages that refer to SrvrPowerCtrl that may indicate why it won't load. Because versions of Squeezebox Server for a NAS are specifically tailored to that NAS, it's entirely possible that SrvrPowerCtrl, as written, depends on some element that is present in the 'normal' SBS release for Windows/Mac/Linux but is missing from the NAS version. I doubt that's the case here, but it's possible. -- gharris999 gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Good, so not just me... Now, anyone know how to debug this? I'm guessing either: a) the host has changed, and for some reason all these tools use the same host (except the website) b) some part of the discovery protocal has changed c) somehow they are blocking non-web streamers If it's (a), we can work around that with a hosts file update. If it's (b), we have to wait for updates to the tools (and unfortunately the older tools like uXM will likely never work again). If it's (c), we're screwed, and that sucks, and seems lame of SIRIXM. *In any case, the symptom in all cases is that the authentication is failing.* -- AbMagFab AbMagFab's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18128 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=68420 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer: No items found in playlist
Once again the .ram stream from the BBC have stopped working. Error message currently is "no items found in playlist". This has happened periodically and I would have to rummage around to establish the new URLs after the BBC shuffled their servers. This time, no joy. Wherever I look, references are always to the old eg http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r1.ram. This is also the URL that the iPlayer plugin wants to navigate to when selecting Internet Radio/BBC iPlayer/Listen Live/BBC Radio 1. I don't run RealPlayer on my network so I unfortunately have no idea whether this stream actually works. My Slim Server is 7.3.2; iPlayer 0.9f. PS: Loading the URL into notepad results in the following rtsp://rmlegacy-acl.bbc.co.uk/bbc-rbs/rmlegacy-acl/farm/live24/bbc_ami/radio1/radio1_nb_live.ra?BBC-UID=24577493df9ef7b4e6cea04310b0fbbeee57efc4c00090832b5acfd5e09a7105&SSO2-UID= That is, the address DOES actually resolve. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Squeezescrobbler and 7.4
Since upgrading to 7.4 my squeezescrobbler plugin is not working anymore. It shows the link / menu item but seems to load forever without playing anything when I select it. I saw this reported in some threads here but couldn't find a solution. Is squeezescrobbler supposed to work with 7.4 at all? Any other ideas? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SqueezeControl for Android announcement and support thread
Thanks for the new version. Nice to hear, that it is now possible to download current song to the device. The ultimate feature would be, if you could implement streaming functionality into your great app. Than i would have my 'Squeezebox' music collection everywere i go over 3G (precondition would be that the app also works without active WLAN > why the app requires a WLAN connection to work? > it would be nice to use the 3G connection). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPlayer Won't Play BBC Listen Again on QNAP
The mixed endian issue will only come up when handling packing/unpacking 64bit words so seg faulting wouldn't happen but the decoded audio stream would be garbled occassionally. I don't think the issue will occur with a fixed point version as 64bit is mainly used with floating pt operations but it is worthwhile testing. faad is only used to decode AAC and AAC+ formats so a test would be to play http://www.somafm.com/illstreet48.pls on an SB3 or Boom. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70812 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
Hi there, today, I ´ve read the first time about the SvrPowerControl. Question: With this Tool, can I now make the the harddisk hibernation possible , while running the squeezebox server on my NAS? Because now, my harddisk only hibernates, when the Squeezecenter_Plugin ist not installed. -- molli2000 molli2000's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33993 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Well, at least it doesn't segfault or so when I type ./faad -h... But I don't know if it works. I don't even know for what formats it is used. I only have .mp3 (and some .flac) files :) I binary-patch the faad (and the other binaries that come with SBS) to use the SSODS libraries instead of the ones in /lib and /usr/lib. It seems to work as far as I can tell. And I tried to compile everything with VFP support. But I didn't manage to find out if it is used or not. -- flipflip Check out flipflip's 'Squeezebox Server On DiskStation (SSODS) and on TurboStations (SSOTS)' (http://oinkzwurgl.org/ssods/)! Does the SBS version of faad for ARM work with QNAP ? My concern is because QNAP seems to have a strange mixed endian architecture which caused problems with BBCiPlayer and the plugin needed a special QNAP patch. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=70812 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
