Tag is showing as all-uppercase in Mp3tag > The current version of Custom Scan can't read these. I suspect the tagging is a bit non standard as it looks very strange when read through the MP3 library in SBS. The positive side is that it would be possible to update the Custom Scan code so it works, I just have to figure out exactly how they are encoded in the tag in different situations. As I understood from your initial post you can have four of these COMM:Songs-DB_CustomX tags in a single file ? Could you mail me a file where you have set all four of them ? Is it possible to only set COMM:Songs-DB_Custom4 or do you need to set 1,2,3 first ? If it's possible to only set 4 it would be great if you could send me a file where only COMM:Songs-DB_Custom4 has been set too. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74549 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

scrap that last post..I had a rather thorough look thru the player menus and found where I could input 'mysqueezebox.com' account info..Crazy that it should be contained under the 'Test' menu...so very unintuitive and then under the 'SN Registration' (what does 'SN' stand for anyhow?) ...such obtuse locations to place this info no? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Storage for duet
A good alternative to NAS is also Windows Home Server. When I compared both options, there was no question : the WHS is witrhin the same price range and offers at the same time far more flexibity, including easy SBS installation, enough CPU to perform the teask, etc. At the same time, it allows easy extension of storage capacity and adds the nice back up solution to my home setting, backing-up my PCs every day. There are several WHS solutions proposed by OEMs, which are designed to have low consmption power compared to a standard PC, and I leave mine on 24/7, which even allows me to access my files remotely when I am away from home. -- Gilles2 Gilles2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29237 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73682 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SQL Playlist error
That's great thanks. I rebooted my server and 20 songs in it seems to be working. I'll keep an eye on it but I think you've cracked it, thanks. Just in case anybody is wondering why I need this, its because I have many version of the same song, eg A Forest by The Cure. I have version on Seventeen Seconds, 2 compilation albums and various live versions. I flag only one as 'single', if it's exactly the same version then others get tagged as 'duplicate' and alternative versions are tagged as 'altversion'. I don't like the same song to replay too often so I have set no repeat in 2 weeks. I have to also exclude duplicates and alt. versions so get this to work, and now it seems to!
