You don't need to hack the file. Hi, I'm having trouble getting iTunesUpdate to work properly. Installation: I'm running on a new iMac under Snow Leopard. Squeezebox Server, iTunesUpdate, TrackStat, CustomScan and SugarCube (all installed via repository) and iTunes are all up to date. Developer tools and Glue (force install first, later updated successfully without errors) have been installed. No tweaks have been applied i.e. standard settings. What is working and what is not working: + In Squeezebox Server there is the new iTunesUpdate entry. - The iTunesUpdate info page does not show TrackStat ratings. + iTunes gets automatically started after half a track is played. + The play count in iTunes is updated. - The play count increases by 2 instead of 1. - When playing a playlist or album the play count increases only the first track, and this track will get a count of 2 added for each other track played. - No ratings are transferred to iTunes whatsoever. - Using the Direct Update option does not change this behavior except that iTunes will not start automatically. + No errors show up in the server log. My MLB parsing seems to have settled down, but now the single line forecast display (e.g. today: sunny) now seems like it is displaying one period in the future (at least in my area code 92067) than it was previously. So, if you go to weather.com and put in a zip code, SDT is now displaying the middle forecast period on the 36-hour panel as opposed to the most current (left) one. So, for instance, in the morning I used to get the forecast for today. Now I get the forecast for tonight in the morning, and tomorrow in the afternoon/evening on any given day. This happened with a recent upgrade to version 15. Is there anything that has changed between 14 and 15 to cause this? I am running Slimserver 6.5 on a Synology DS-207 (I tried a later version, but it is too slow in the tiny memory available on the DS-207), with AlienBBC. I want to copy the list of podcasts and the RSS feeds and their addresses from another installation. But where do I find them? Which file? And which folder? Any pointers where to look would be most welcome. Until today I have enjoyed iPeng. It's so much easier to do searches for stations to listen to rather than use my Squeezebox Boom, which takes too long. However, today my Squeezebox Boom was having some problems (which seems to be working the way it should right now) but now I am unable to use iPeng. I can't even turn on my radio with it. I checked the Squeezebox settings in iPeng and it's a blank page. I don't know how to get it back to the way it was. I have my network set up in it but it's still not working. Any info would really help. I just have not had much luck with my Squeezebox Boom lately. What server is your Boom connected to? MySqueezebox.com or a local server? BPA, I just wanted to say between my wife and I, we use Softsqueeze.jar 3.9beta very heavily (at least twice a day between the two of us). I hope you dont think that people aren't using softsqueeze just because they aren't posting here. We are mostly happy campers; hence, not posting here. It would be nice though to get those remaining bugs fixed... The only remaining bug that affects me is when playing back local media, the first couple of seconds always get cut off. I apologize in advance. I've searched this forum for some time but have not determined if SDT in fact will work as a screen saver my new Duet Remote. I've seen that you can add it as part of Extras but that's as far as I've gotten. I have 3SB + the new duet (box and remote) and have SDT running on all the SB displays...getting it to work with the Duet remote's display has me dumbfounded. Can anyone let me know where the screen savers functionality stands and if it is working where I can find instructions on how to do enable it? I also wish it could be used this way, but I don't think it does. I access via extras on my Radio to check the weather, but unfortunately it's not available (at least to my knowledge) as a screensaver. It's using the MySqueezebox server. I figured out how to get it fixed, thanks to your help. I had to have it connect again to my server and it seems to be working fine now.
