Softsqueeze only uses a few files in the directory / subdirectory it is installed and its preferences. The files and locations depend on the OS you are using and how you installed Softsqueeze. What OS are you using ? How did you install Softsqueeze ? If the above query returns 10 rows, it means there are duplicates in
the TrackStat data. The next step is to try to find out why, to do
this, I'd like you to repeat the above steps with the following query.
You of course only need to do this if the above query returns any rows.
This query will return multiple tracks that have the same musicbrainz_id
tracks.

If none of the above queries returns anything, it means that the
problem probably is in the Custom Scan data. You can then try to run
this query but I suspect it's going to be too slow in your library
because it takes several seconds to execute in my 3000 track library.

If there aren't any duplicates in the Custom Scan data, this query
should return an empty result.

I don't really want people to be doing it this way though as I won't be posting the download urls separately. I would suggest you look at why your server is not automatically downloading (you may need to restart the server to make it refetch the list of plugins). [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotify plugin - trouble playing playlists
Hi! I'm having trouble playing playlists from the Spotify plugin recently released. When accessing the playlist from the the Squeezebox Controller, I just can't get the full playlist to play. Whenever I browse to the playlist I can't press play on the controller. Stepping into the playlist (and seeing the list of tracks) and pressing play will just add the first song to Currently playing. I can start the full playlist when accessing Spotify playlists from the Squeezecenter web interface, but I want to do it from the Controller interface. It looks like, as you suspected, it was caused by my erroneous configuration. Thank you Triode, I did find the url of the repository, and I even managed to download several versions of the plugin (compressed in zip format, right). What I do not know right now, is where to copy the unzipped Spotify folder that I get ... trust me that I tried to restart the server several times, re-check the plugins secction...and nothing happens, that is why I am trying to install the new version manually. The beta9 was working quite well in my Mac as I posted before, but it stopped working once the server automatically updated to version beta10...and from there I messed around with files here and there, that is why probably now the automatic updated does not work. I think you are best trying to get the automatic install to work - suggest removing and reinstalling the server and then trying to install the plugin via the plugin page. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Moose Album Art confused by FLAC tags?
Setting up Moose and letting it scan my library of exclusively flac files (SQL Lite), which I ripped bit perfect with RIPNAS, I find moose gets confused by the tags and recognizes many bands by the composer rather than the main artist. For example, multiple Zero 7 albums are listed under individual names, not Zero 7, but for one album. Is this remediable (if that is a word)? is there a setting either on Moose or Squeezecenter that will reflect in the database so Moose picks this up correctly? The machine on which I have installed Softsqueeze is a Windows 7 (32 bit) machine. Not sure about Windows 7 but on earlier versions of Windows, Java kept preferences in the registry not in a file. Screen Switcher is an applet and will only be shown in the
Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer menu directly on a
Touch/Radio/Controller(Duet remote).
For the others possible reasons might be:
- You haven't change the setting to display all plugins/applets and not
just the recommended ones (There is a checkbox for this in SBS
Settings/Plugins and on Touch/Radio/Controller in
Settings/Advanced/Applet Installer)
- You are using a 7.6 nightly release of SBS which doesn't support all
plugins/applets yet.

I have checked all of those 3rd party ticked, only a few applets of yours show on the server settings plugin tab on the browser, using 7.5.2, it was there the other day but I restarted and now it's gone (I had to start over and delete all settings as it was crashing after restarting), but its still on the squeezeboxes, but won't grab any photos because it's disappeared and I can no longer install to the server.
