Seems like this is THE plugin to get! Thanks! I just moved my music to my qnap and of course I'd like to stream Spotify thru the squeezeboxes as well. I started to read the thread from the top and after a while backwards from the bottom. As a relative newbie, please advise - Is the first post still valid in order to get it up and running? Well this is nothing to do with the plugin its to do with the server software on your computer. Since upgrading to iPeng 1.2.5 on my 3rd generation iPod Touch (iOS 4.0.1) I am consistently getting a player not found message when attempting to control a Squeezebox Touch (Firmware 7.5.1-r8837). This issue appears to be after the iPod comes out of sleep (iPeng running). The resolution is to exit iPeng and relaunch, the player is now found. I also noticed that iPeng was defaulting to another player (SB3) that was actually off. Removing the power from the SB3 fixed that in the interim (I believe this is a known issue with a patch in the works). I have tried power cycling the iPod Touch but no change. I also experimented with the Connect Last Server option with no change.I also flushed the cache since I was on that screen, no change (not really expecting one). Anyone else with the same or similar issue? Am I missing something? Actually I believe this is a symptom of that player change phenomenon. Could it be that the player DOES get connected after 30s or so? Do you see the player on the MultiPlayer screen? The problem here is that iPeng purges the list of players when it comes back from sleep and has to discover them all again before being able to connect them. Should be the same on any OS. 1. Uninstall any automatically installed SrvPowerControl plugin. 2. Find the download url via looking in the xml repository file. 3. Download, and unzip into the Plugins folder within the SBS installation folder. i.e. (On windows) I have: P:\Music\SlimServer\trunk\server\Plugins\SrvrPowerCtrl\ 4. Well I went to test confirm or deny your 30 second connect question and now I cannot replicate the issue. Typical! (like the knocking noise in your car that disappears when you take it to the mechanic). Nothing has changed, just decided to start working I guess. A little more information. All my previous testing not exhibiting the issue was done while tracks were playing. Once the playlist had finished however, the behavior returned. This time though I patiently waited and after 30 seconds or so the player did connect. I then started another playlist and each time iPeng connected instantly to the player as long as tracks were playing. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Radioio streams listed but not all work
Hi, As a long time user of Radioio I've noticed that the listing of streams / stations has changed on a daily basis. I'm also having problems connecting to a lot of them and it seems hit and miss as to which ones will work. I get a streampoint error on some but it works at other times. Is anyone else having similiar problems? I've decided to not re-subscribe as I'm getting frustrated with the downtime - although I wonder if the problem will go away if I go on the CF streams. All eras work, except the last (10s, which is 2010s). Whenever I try to play stuff from that era, any genre, it doesn't work. Maybe there is an off by one error in the code, for instance a META_YEAR START_ERA where there should be META_YEAR = STAR_ERA? As we only are in 2010, and 2010 is the start year of the last era, that seems a plausible explanation - there is no music available for 2011 yet! So... This should have been the happiest day of my life (other than marriage, birth, and children or something)at last a spotify plugin!!! But... nope...it doesn't work for me. I can search for artists etc but if I select playlists or recent artists (and probably others) I get: There was an error loading the remote feed for : (Error reading headers: Server closed connection without sending any data back at /Net/HTTP/Methods.pm line 306. ...propagated at /Net/HTTP/NB.pm line 32. ) bugger.
