Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Denon AVP Control Plugin
The image is too small for me to see. You did reboot the server after installation of the plugin correct? Once the plugin is installed on the server you will then need to go to the player you have chosen to run the plugin on and configure it there under the plugin option. There is no configuration on the server side. Each instance of a player can have a different set of settings for the plugin. -- Aesculus Chris Aesculus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14876 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60114 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
First: On the WOL issue: There IS a problem with this in i.2.5 in that the WOL address is not being correctly stored if the MAC is the same as the detected one. This is fixed in the release I submitted to Apple last Friday and which is awaiting approval. 05mattjax;568117 Wrote: > I understand that iPeng supports mysqueezebox.com and will move players > of your choice from your current server i.e NAS to the online server > i.e mysqueezebox.com. I use an SBR with iPeng on iPod Touch and NAS > running squeezebox server. Have you configured your Receiver using Net::UDAP? There seems to be an issue that Net::UDAP for some reason doesn't configure a player correctly for MySB so that settings are not being stored correctly or something. I don't fully understand what the issue is, I've never used Net::UDAP myself. If your player is correctly configured for MySB AND (this is important!) your MySqueezebox.com account is correctly configured in your Squeezebox Server, there should be no need to reconfigure anything when switching over players from SBS to MySB. andyd30;568066 Wrote: > Hi, since updating to 1.2.5 the serverpowercontrol plug-in has stopped > working as it should from the extras menu in ipeng. I'm not aware that I changed anything that could make SvrPowerControl no longer work, unfortunately this is a little hard to test. I understand that iPeng supports mysqueezebox.com and will move players of your choice from your current server i.e NAS to the online server i.e mysqueezebox.com. I have tried this on iPeng, selected my player to move accross and although iPeng changes the server I need to physically uplug my SBR from the mains to run its network connection routine (go through the lights) so it connects to the new server. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Denon AVP Control Plugin
i had to reinstall, so got the new version it seems.. But i dont see it anymore in the player section, and the plugin name itself shows pretty weird. Do have to tell that my disk was 100% full, and made me go through the wizard of sbs again, dont know why. Same goes for the plugins. Maybe that is some clue, but i would suspect (like many other plugins) that it still works. Anyway, just see the image, its easier to see :) +---+ |Filename: weird2.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=10450| +---+ -- riemers riemers's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60114 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Think I can report another instance of the problem Andyd30 mentions above. Any known problems with SrvrPowerCtrl and iPeng? I have yet to test thoroughly or check logs. Searched both applicable threads but found nothing relevant. Problem as I am seeing is as follows: Requesting a server shutdown or hibernate using SrvrPowerCtrl (v20100115.005818) from iPeng (1.2.5 under iOS4) causes the SBS service (7.5.1 - r30836) to hang. The XPproSp3 box it runs on stays up and only SBS seems to hang. Restarting SBS service is required once in that state. Even while SBS is unresponsive if a Windows shutdown.exe command is sent over the network the XP box does then shutdown OK. No problems with any SrvrPowerCtrl commands sent from using the SBC or Boom. Had this under the previous iPeng release (my first) too but assumed it was just an iOS4 thing. Apparently not. Probably unrelated but while Im here iPeng also seems to be prone to losing the WOL MAC address. Not yet noticed a pattern to when this happens but also occasionally see the same thing on the SBC. Any clues how I can stop that happening? Otherwise iPeng is the cat's pyjamas so many thanks to those who make it possible. (Otherwise you may be tempted to "share" your account details.) What this means for the plugin is two fold: 1) The plugin will only play one stream, if a second player tries to start playing a spotify stream and it is not synced to the first then it will fight the first and you will probably end up with both player skipping through tracks on the playlist (each new track kills the previous one) 2) If you start to playback a stream via another spotify client using the same account then the same will occur, with the specific impact on the playing stream being down to the actual client. I'm afraid I can't do very much about this. -- Triode Triode's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

It seems to be associated with having another player on the network turned on. If you run more than one player and the skipping occurs, check the other players to see what they are up to. If two players are trying to play Spotify you will certainly get this behaviour as they fight each other for control. I dare say the same will occur if you have Spotify open on your PC and are also trying to use it via your Squeezebox. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hi, since updating to 1.2.5 the serverpowercontrol plug-in has stopped working from the extras menu in ipeng. Also when starting ipeng, with the previous version the server would WOL, but this has also stopped working. Both features still work from my duet controller, so this leads me to believe that a chage in ipeng has caused the problem. I do have WOL turned on in ipeng. I have checked the wireless card mac and other than a 00 being shown as 0 and a 04 being shown as 4 in ipeng the two match (I am unable to get 00 and 04 to stick in the MAC field in ipeng). Any suggestions would be appeciated. [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicIP
Hi to all, I have been reading the posts on musicIP and getting the squeezeserver to to talk to it, installation, and so on, but am having quite a bit of difficulty getting a handle on where to start and what I need to do. All the posts on other material on the www seems to assume a level of knowledge that is somewhat beyond that which I have. Is there an 'idiots' guide to installation, or do you advise that it a bit much for a non-computer expert to attempt? I have a SB Duet (receiver and controller) and a Mac. I currently use the SS interface to iTunes to manage my tunes. Thanks a lot for any advice.
