Here are the instructions from the Owner's Manual: 1. Set the input source, input mode, surround mode, room EQ settings and volume to the conditions you want to store. 2. Press and hold the desired QUICK SELECT. Keep pressing the button until the quick select indicator lights. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Yes. No space left for more icons. If you swipe to the other side you get to the current playlist. The group feature is about synced players. If you have two or more players in sync, "Power" and volume commands through the main controls in iPeng will act on all of them (you can turn this off in the settings). The special thing about volume is that it's not an absolute volume but changes the volume relatively on each player depending on the current volume level. This is important if you have two players (e.g. a Boom and a Touch) which you want to use different absolute volumes (e.g. 50% on the Boom and 75% on the Touch). Now if you turn the volume down, the Boom will end up at e.g. 25% and the Touch at 40%. would have to look up the exact values in the algorithm but it's such that if they sounded similar before the change they should be similar after the volume change, too. You can still tweak the individual volume of each player on that players page you just discovered. -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote and *New: iPeng for iPad*, at penguinlovesmusic.com pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] TrackStat menus on Radio/Touch
I often play an album and rate songs when they are playing. Sometimes I'll forget to rate a few. On classic players, I can bring up the mixers for the album, and go into TrackStat and select to play Not Rated Songs. This plays all of the songs from the album that I forgot to rate (unfortunately in a pretty random order, but it's still quite useful). On Radio, I can't find an equivalent (easy) way to do this. If I press More on a song to get to the song details, scroll down to the album and press More, and go into TrackStat, I just get a list of songs on the album, with Rating and Playcount. From this list, all that I can do is select a song. Is there a way to get into TrackStat stats menus for a selected item (artist, album, genre, year or playlist)? I think it is quite common if your family of Squeezeboxen grows over the time. I think whenever you add a new one, you may have to rethink the previous naming schema. But then, you'll have to do some configuration for the new setup anyway. So, while it would be a nice thing, I don't see urgent need for it either. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: SuperDateTime - Current Date/Temperature and/or Baseball Screensaver
Well, it's back to working without error this morning. Weird. But I guess that's just the world of web page scraping. Sigh. Looking at the script, and with all due respect (I am sooo not a Perl programmer), I see lots of parsing code like the following: #Next36 'B' TOD header @matches = $tree->look_down( "_tag", "td", "class", "twc-col-3 twc-forecast-when" ); $outcome_txt = $matches[ 0 ]->as_text; if ($outcome_txt =~ m/(.*)/) { $wetData{1}{'forecastTOD'} = uc($1); } else { $status = '-'; $log->warn('Error parsing next 24 -B- TOD header'); } Should all these calls to look_down not be followed by a check to see if the sought tag was returned, before dereferencing the value with as_text? If this check were included, would it not at least allow the script to continue running as opposed to stop running? I'm just asking... While I'm a petty experienced programmer, I don't write any Perl. Hi all. I was really excited to see this plugin for SBS and Spotify - many thanks to Triode. I've been using Napster as a stop-gap instead but the quality of their content leaves something to be desired. So, having installed spotifyd and getting it running pretty quickly I was pretty happy to start taking advantage of what Spotify had to offer on the SBS. However I'm having some issues with spotifyd "segfaulting". I'm hoping somebody can shed some light on this problem for me - I'm probably missing something obvious so apologies in advance if I'm missing it. I'm using an AMD Athlon LE-1620 AM2 based system running Ubuntu 9.0.4 server and SBS 7.5.2. Now I've read that the spotifyd plugin will only run on an Intel CPU - so am I wasting my time trying to get this to work on my platform? Spotifyd will run for a while and I'm able to play the stream to my SB Duet without any problem then for some reason the process will segfault, so my question is will this run on an AMD platform? I've increased the verbosity on the log but if I'm running an unsupported platform then I'll need to rethink where I go from here.
