MrRalph, is username + password of Mysqueezebox.com entered on the
mysqueezebox.com settings page of your 7.6 server?
if everything is alright the Touch should never automatically switch to
mysqueezebox.com when you select Spotify.

How often is the list going to need maintenance? eg. how often do new

Sorry, I missed the part about the dedicated server. I had thought the
Touch was running with a USB drive on it's own. If it does that, it
probably has to switch sources.

Just downloaded 0.3.1 and I see what you mean. I'm inclined to agree

2011-06-11 Thread pippin

You need to register iPeng for the same MySB account as the Touch and
iPeng then should follow automatically.
You can register iPeng with MySB by just tapping on MySB under Music
Sources. If you've already configured it but for a different account
you can change that account by tapping the blue ">" next to MySB AFTER
you've switched to it.

Unlike the Squeezebox iPeng doesn't enforce registration with MySB
because so many users tell me they don't want that.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread

2011-06-11 Thread MrRalph

Ipeng on the Ipad, 7.6 latest nightly dedicated SBS.

I have trouble with Spotify. When I start searching and playing from
Spotify (from IPeng), the Squeezebox Touch changes it source from my
SBS7.6 to mysqueezebox.com. From that moment on, IPeng looses
connection to my Touch, making it impossible to operate it.

This behavior is independent of what I select at the Ipeng options
(connect to server/player).

I have to manually switch the Touch back to my local server and voila,
Ipeng sees the player again.

Any tips for this? Thanks,

Ralph

Thanks very much to those who found the fix! Here are the steps I did
to fix it on my Mac (in Terminal):

My plugins are stored in
/Users/steve/Library/Caches/SlimServer/InstalledPlugins/Plugins.

/Users/steve/Library/Caches/SlimServer/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SuperDateTime/lib
[steve@york lib]$ ls -al

Unzip Plugins-SuperDateTime-Plugin.par o an empty directory in your

Sorry for the confusion I added here -- it does work for me now.

The reason it wasn't working is that I was backing up my old .par by
using the Windows right-drag, which renamed the file to the original
name appended with " - Copy" and keeping the par extension (i.e.
Plugins-SuperDateTime-Plugin - Copy.par)

I think SBS was picking up the backup rather than my modified .par with
the original name, so it was picking up the old code. I renamed it to
.par.bak

Seems to work fine now with David Zuckerman's changes to BoomX2's
changes. Thanks!
