[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotify sound settings
Hi, do I have any control over the audio settings of spotify via SB touch? The file type settings don't seem to make any difference when I play with the ogg vorbis stream format decoder. In one go? No. But you can set the mode at the top to add and then just tap the ones you want to add. The number of taps is the same as if you would select and then add them e,g through check marks. pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yes, that works but not in the way I like to do my playlists, that way means I have to have the playlist open that I want to add to then when I am finished adding tracks I have to manually save it with the same name so that the new added tracks still stay there, the way I do my playlist management while on the iPad is that I can have any music playing and at the same time I can go to any album and long hold on a track which then gives me song info then add to/other then all my saved playlists show and I just click on what one I want it to be added to but I have to do the same routine for every single track that I want added to that playlist, this will automatically save the tracks to the playlist without the need to manually rename and save again, just thought that if I had a greatest hits album but only wanted certain tracks to be added to one of my saved playlist, I could add more than 1 track at a time, no problem, happy with what I can do at the moment... Hi In the Amazon AWS registration, they ask for a credit card information. Does this FindArt plugin creates any charges to my account? thanks regards DamfromB's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56691 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49245 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

If so, how? I want to do this with a Meridian G68. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: FindArt plugin beta
The plugin doesn;t work with 7.6 and later when LMS changes the databvase back to SQLlite. I'm not sure if AWS registration has changed but you used to be able to avoid supplying credit card info until you actually bought services. The plugin does not require you to buy any service. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49245 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Cheers Simple answer is no - both for the official Logitech support and the third party app. Neither of them streams the audio via the server. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: muso (production)
New internal telnet class for communicating with the Squeezebox CLI. Much faster timeout on checking for LMS connection (when server unreachable). Minor pivotviewer fixes/enhancements. Fix to Album.TitledArtist property so that artist(s) common to all tracks are recognised. jezbo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9888 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81685 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MUSO - Support Thread
A few weeks ago I found this program as an alternative to the no longer supported ACC. I downloaded 1.4.23 and experimented and got it working. My setup is LMS running on a QNAP TS119 and after setting the options page all was fine. Except that I also noticed that the LMS sort order (which puts David Bowie under B, not D) wasn't working. So I installed 4.1.28 instead. Unfortunately I now get an error message when I import (using the same settings): 'Unhandled exception has occurred ... Object reference not set to an instance of an object'. The import cannot continue from here. I have reinstalled 1.4.13 and everything works again. Any ideas? What extra info do you need? [SlimDevices: Plugins] 3rd Party Spotify - Instability Issues
Hi forum experts! I have been having a tough time with the 3rd party (triode) Spotify plugin over the past few months... (Duet, 2 players and controller - versions below) Activating the plugin from the list sometimes takes several attempts and server restarts before it actually installs. Similar to other posters, LMS seems to cache DNS results - as the server starts when the system starts it seems that if the first DNS request to mysqueezebox.com fails then this is cached until I restart the server again. This seems to result in 2 problems - one confirmed, the other not: 1. (confirmed) the Plugins page does not load any 3rd party plugins and lists 3 DNS failures at the top of the page (server restart fixes this) 2. The plugin disappears from the duet controller. When 2. happens above, I have to re-enable the plugin (may take several attempts) and will only be in the plugins list (1.) if I can be sure that the LMS has not cached a failed DNS attempt. Previous attempts to troubleshoot using the logs have resulted in standard router/firewall/network suggested route causes as the logs just show DNS failures (due to cache). It is definitely not the network/firewall settings. - When the plugin installs it passes all self-tests and I can use full Spotify functionality. As you can imagine, the effort of re-instaling the plugin every time the system restarts is too much to be worth it. Any suggestions on - Preventing the DNS caching? Delaying server start until after the network connection has come up? (I know I can do this manually - any other suggestions..??) Making the plugin more persistent during these issues?
