Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Smart Mix plugin

2013-05-28 Thread Michael Herger

I had LMS re-scan the collection a few times, but Smart Mix does not
see anything except these same songs. I am only using tracks on a local
disk. I guess the key is how to get it to read the existing LMS scan?
Does it perform it's own scan?

Not its own scan, but it adds a step to the regular scan. If the scanner
fails for whatever reason, you might end up with an empty profile.

Did you check scanner.log? If in doubt, set logging for plugin.smartmix to
debug (Settings/Advanced/Logging) and re-run a full wipe/rescan. Then
check the log again.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iTunes Update plugin and LMS 7.7.1 problem

2013-05-28 Thread cosmotic

I've fixed the plugin by replacing all the Glue stuff with calls to
osascript. It's minimally tested, I've attached the .pm

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Triode Spotify 2.2.8 on QNAP TS-209 - Helper App not running

2013-05-28 Thread dp6ai

Did you ever get this working? I have the same issue and think it's
something related to the location of the files.

if you use the latest qpkg version of the LMS it is installed to:
.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotify/Bin/arm-linux

whereas i think the triode plugin is expecting to be run from:
/opt/ssods4/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotify/Bin/arm-linux/spotifydnoflac

i can start the Helper app by running:
/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotify/Bin/arm-linux/spotifydnoflac
&

but i get this logged:
[21:21:01.919479] main:586 req: browse.json res:
spotify:track:5Yk9UNDBloxUmXhlgZgbiI par: (null) prot: HTTP/1.0 auth:
(null)
[21:21:01.919776] main:686 no remembered user
[21:21:01.920200] main:1595 bad request for socket or no track

and use i've tried setting and then changing and resetting the
credentials in the settings page.

Any ideas?

Thanks

DP

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Smart Mix plugin

2013-05-28 Thread Mongo

Hello, all;
Is there a simplified instruction set for using this app? No matter what
recipe I try I get the same 10 songs.
I had LMS re-scan the collection a few times, but Smart Mix does not
see anything except these same songs. I am only using tracks on a local
disk. I guess the key is how to get it to read the existing LMS scan?
Does it perform it's own scan?

thanks

What version of Windows ?
Did you check "show disabled devices" on the Recording tab of the Sound
control panel ?

No.

I'm one of those folks that can't get "Stereo Mix" to appear on his VAIO
laptop.

Is it possible to connect Wave Input with Total Recorder?

For that price I wouldn't have expected it to be anything but horrible
:)

When audio is still in digital format you can get by with cheap
components, since price in general just buys you speed. However, once
that audio is converted to analog its quality becomes quite dependent on
the price/quality of the components and things get expensive pretty
quickly.

Hi,
I bought this stick:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2013-New-IPTV-MK806-RK3066-Dual-Core-1-6Ghz-Cortex-A9-Android-4-1-jelly-bean/669898733.html
. I installed SB Player on it and so far I can say that it works.
Unfortunately Wifi reception is not the best and the signal is so low
next to my HiFi set that I ordered already an USB-to-Ethernet adapter. A
soon as it is working I can directly compare the analog audio and HDMI
out of the TV stick with my Raspberry Pi with USB DAC (SPDIF). I am no
audio expert so don't give to much on my opinion, but I already can say
that this one sounds horrible: http://www.ebay.de/itm/290687235460
