These are both synced with a Touch, a Radio and a boom, one or more of which might be on any time. Will this have an impact? What menu do you use to play the BBC streams ? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
@mkkyah: Thanks for the report! I just tested the 7.8 nightly... So if anyone stumbles upon this problem (Plugins in LMS do not install): please install the nightly 7.8 or 7.9. @Nojelc: glad to hear its working now and thank you very much! So far the latest Update works like expected. The next thing I am working on is an easy to configure WiFi hotspot to use and control the ODROID without existing WiFi. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
chris.mason wrote: I'm been a very happy user of srvrpowercontrol for some years. I have an SB3 and a Boom. Recently, after a server crash, I had to re-install Ubuntu (I was running 9.10, and installed 14.04 server), and I also installed LMS 7.8.1. I've installed the beta version of srvrpowercontrol, and all is well except.. When coming out of suspend, after my devices have been pushed to MySqueezebox.com, the devices don't get pulled back to my server. It works if my server has been shutdown to alternate but not if just suspended. I have to manually pull them back using the LMS web interface. Any thoughts? The error log suggests that the calls are successful but nothing happens. One other thing I noticed is that in preferences page for this plugin, you can't change the value for Alternate server delay time. Every time you do, and save it, it springs back to '30' seconds. Thanks in advance for any help. Chris. I think I have narrowed this down a little. When the server is restarted via an RTC wake up, the squeezeboxes re-attach. ALso, if the server is woken from one of the squeezeboxes, that works. If the server is woken my PC (magic packet being sent), it restarts, but the squeezboxes don't re-attach. All very odd. chris.mason's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3323 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Modification to the AutoDim plugin
I use the autodim/autodisplay plugin on my Boom - it is quite an important part of the setup. The Boom is used in my bedroom, and sits on the bedside table. At night the display is set to go completely dark, as the inbuilt auto brightness doesn't go dark enough. I'd like to modify the plugin so that it changes the brightness setting for not just the off mode, but idle mode to go dark. I often have the boom playing rain sounds at night for relaxation, so would like the display to be off then. Any ideas on what I would change to make that happen? Many thanks Chris. chris.mason's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3323 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102465 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi flysurfer Can I ask if the Update APT-GET Sources and APT-GET UPGRADE option updates the Max2Play-image? You spoke about an upgrade Ubuntu-Button option you might add in reply to question from slartibartfast earlier in the thread, is this it? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Why does LMS removes MP3 idtags ?
JJZolx wrote: If the stream is transcoded from something other than Mp3, it won't have any of the metadata from the original file. If you're seeing this from an Mp3 file, it may be that LMS is still doing some kind of transcoding, perhaps for bitrate limiting purposes. That's what I thought but I removed all transcoding options so this is the plain mp3 file, as stored on my server. When sending flac, at least I have title artist, btw philippe_44's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17261 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102456 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
Is iPlayer designed to switch between streams if the currently playing stream is interrupted? I have seen the situation where a Radio 2 aac stream stops playing and if I try to play the same station on another device, iPlayer will select the wma stream since the aac stream is not available. The original player however will not find the wma stream unless I select another station then reselect Radio 2. It seems that once a stream has been selected you are locked to it even if it fails. slartibartfast's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35609 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I guess it isn't possible to resume with an alternative stream. It's just annoying when your alarm stream stops to be replaced by the annoying default sound. I blame the BBC for that though. slartibartfast's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35609 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Are you seeing html tags in the text? If that's the case you are missing some CPAN modules for the plugin. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hi everyone, I'm running the lastest iPeng (8.0.3) on an Ipod device together with a LMS 7.8 on which I installed the Bioraphy plug-in. In the Song Info mode, I can select the Biography tab and then read the Bio but it isn't well rendered on the screen. The html links are not recognized at all and it's only possible to read part of the text, not the entire story. The same text on the LMS web interface looks perfect. Anyone experienced the same?
