Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
I am using the Squeezelite with Max2Play on a Raspberry Pi Model B. Outputting through HDMI cables into a Marantz Receiver. When I play a high resolution files, it registers on the Marantz with a sample rate of 48. WHen I play the same track using piCorePlayer on another Raspberry Pi, I get a 192 reading. I have tried using options -r 192000 and -r 96000 using the "Command line options" on the Max2Play web interface, and neither works. Actually I get no output. ALSA is set at 400:4:24:0 Any suggestions? stereoptic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53162 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101856 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
@palmerx: do you connect the Raspberry by LAN or by WiFi? It seems, that your device sometimes has no internetconnection on startup. This is the reason for the missing radio stations on the Squeezebox-Server and probably also the reason for the problems connecting and controling it with your iPhone-App. If you use a LAN-connection, then it might be your power-supply / router / Raspberry PI... difficult to say. 2 x Max2Play on ODROID U2/U3 with LMS, Squeezelite, Shairport, XBMC 1 x Squeezebox Receiver 1 x Denon 1713 AVR + Nubert 5.1 System iPeng Max2Play Webinterface and SD-Image: http://www.max2play.com/ Max2Play Shop: http://shop.max2play.com/ flysurfer's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61064 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101856 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The extract from the user guide is as follows: Some renderers do not support re-positioning of flac well. If you have this problem you need to create a custom transcoding rule. You first need to find the convert.conf file on your system (on linux this is in /etc/squeezeboxserver). This file contains the rules LMS uses to transcode from one format to another. To add a new rule, create a new file called 'custom-convert.conf' in the same directory and restart LMS. This file should contain (if you copy-paste below,be careful with the indentation): Code: flc flc * * # IR [flac] -cs - - This tells LMS to create a complete new flac file when a flac starts playing or is re-positioned. The LMS File Type for flac should now show flac transcoded to 'flac' rather than 'native'. philippe - is the user guide copied to anywhere on the system when the plugin is used?
