Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
So just to be clear: what you are playing on the player has been played using Albums or something, not browsing folders, right? iPeng requests unscaled artwork for the NowPlaying screen, I don't know what SqueezePad does but LMS had some issues with that until a few weeks ago when Michael fixed some things. That said, that particular issue should have a workaround in iPeng 9.0.2, too. In any case iPeng needs to access the unscaled artwork and unfortunately that also means the server then adds that to it's artwork cache which means that database can grow very large if you've got large artwork. If it's corrupted at some point the server can hang while trying to access it. The issue in LMS 7.9 Michael recently fixed was that the server _first_ added the artwork to the cache and then read it from the cache before returning it to iPeng, a process that can take long enough to time out. That's why I also suggested to clear the artwork cache. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 9, the Universal App for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Could you please update LMS to a more recent build? And again: does this happen even if you don't use the "browse music folder" functionality at all (in iPeng). Have you also tried to delete the artwork cache (artwork.db and cache.db)? What is probably happening is that your server hangs temporarily while browsing. bpa wrote: > That is odd assuming you are using 1.4.4 - what error is showing ? What > "Live" setting are you using ? It's just the UK url that has some problem - the mpd is valid, but the stream segments return 501 error. I assumed this is a temporary problem that the BBC will eventually fix, so put the url in anyway in the menu.opml I gave you. The nonuk url works fine (and is same bitrate), so it may be best to use that in the UK list in the final release, if the other one doesn't start working. utgg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40900 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104672 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Smart Mix plugin
I've been a happy user of these two plugins for over a year, but the 'All Access' feature stopped working a few weeks ago and I'm only getting round to looking at it now. Using 0.4.1 of the Google Music plugin and the latest 1.7.2 of Smart Mix (the recent upgrade has made no difference) the 'Music Sources' shows only 'Local music files' There's no Google Music support in SmartMix. Never has been. You should get in touch with the Google Music plugin author, as probably he did add support for SmartMix. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: YouTube Plugin
Hi all, I played with the plugin for quite some time on my Synology and could not get it to work for weeks. Just yesterday I got it to work. I would like to share that with you for those, who face similar issues My system runs DSM 5.2-5644 Update 1 on a DS213. The LMS library has around 35000 tracks, no videos or images and I am using a bunch of duet players in two groups. I am using ipeng or the web interface to control the system ISSUE After installing the plugin over LMS 7.7 I could search for tracks and see them with images in the result list. When playing nothing happend on the web interface and ipeng shows a toast message with "no stream" SOLUTION Philippe mentioned that the issue is with the SSL support. I am not so much of a techie and could not use any of the telnet command lines I saw in this thread to install libs manually nor did I find a package that I could use for installation. 1. I completely uninstalled the LMS 7.x 2. Then I reinstalled it from the 7.9.0 repack that you can find earlier in this thread. 3. I installed the plugin over it and maintained the API key that I had generated earlier. 4. I opened the protocol center of the Synology. under "Protokollempfang" (not sure how that is in english, protocol reception?) I activated BSD with TCP and checked the SSL checkbox. I left the port to 514 which is the default. 5. Restart of everything (incl rescan of the music library) and it worked. Just to point out: I did not install anything specific to SSL manually on my machine. cheers Martin daumar's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61276 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87731 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Okay, 3rd party was already checked I just missed seeing the plugin - was looking under S. So checked it, clicked "apply", clicked OK to restart, waited a while, and now unable to connect to the server. I reinstalled LMS and now the plugin does not appear on the list. Similar thing happened yesterday, I unclicked some plugins, clicked apply, clicked OK to restart, and then got the message Unable to connect. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBCiPlayer with DASH support - test version
Many program available through the Extra plugin are only available in the Flashaac/(RTMP) format - typically these are older programs and often lower bit rates. So when using Extra plugin for normal listening and if you listen to programs which are probably pre 2015 - keep the BBCiPlayer setting at the "max" no of formats (i.e. include at least FlashAAC, HLS & DASH). bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104672 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Smart Mix plugin
If the Performance-setting "Maximum Playlist Length" is set to '0' (no restriction), you can't change the Smart Mix-setting "Keep tracks in playlist" to any other value than '0'. Wow, good catch!
