Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Protocol Handler - play Spotify on all your Squeezeboxen

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Protocol Handler - play Spotify on all your Squeezeboxen
Also noticed (it may be relevant) that the DSTM Spotify tracks do not contain track duration times whereas a Spotify Artist Mix does. How old is your LMS build? I fixed this issue back in February. It's not an issue in the plugin, but a bug in LMS exposed by the plugin. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Smart Mix plugin
Is there any way you could easily add the stopgap for Don't Stop The Music, Spotify only, to the existing Smartmix plug-in? SmartMix is dead. And Don't Stop The Music is a very stripped down version of SmartMix' feature of the same name. Why should I "add" it there? I did consider moving Don't Stop The Music to its own plugin, allowing other plugins to hook in to it. Eg. RandomPlay, music services etc. But that's for the unforeseeable future... I prefer to use Triode's Spotify plugin, since it handles very large playlists, How does this fail in the official Spotify plugin? How long are "very large" playlists? -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Do I need to uninstall Triode's Spotify app before installing the Spotify Protocol Handler? If you don't then the SPH plugin won't be active, as it's basically just the protocol handler part of Triode's anyway. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Squeezelite Player 1.8.4-720 on Windows 10
Hi to all, I'm using Squeezelite Player on Windows 10 and there is a problem with displaying the right time of a title. I configured the delay option in conjunction with the samplerate (-r [:]) and when playing songs with different samplerates, the timeslider in my Android app (Squeeze Ctrl) shows the wrong current title time with the timeslider. For instance sometimes the timeslider hangs and after 30 seconds the slider shows the right current time of the song. This does only appears when the squeezelite player inserts a short delay of samplerate switching (is necessary due to my DAC). The developer of the Squeeze Ctrl app, debugs this problem and told me that the squeezelite player sends a wrong time during the delay and after 30 seconds the player sends the right time. Does anybody has a similar problem? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Protocol Handler - play Spotify on all your Squeezeboxen
@Michael I have uninstalled Triode's Spotify and installed 1.1.0 of this to get Don't Stop The Music back. I think there is a bug. The playlist is populated OK but the first Spotify track just loops over and over unless you intervene. I am sure it is a minor bug that has slipped in somehow. First time round I though I was hearing things but after a complete system reboot I can confirm it is still there on multiple seed tracks I have tried. If I skip forward whatever track is chosen from the Spotify playlist loops i.e. it is not limited to track 1. I am on LMS 7.8.1 on a Vortexbox 2.3 if that is relevant. *Vortexbox LMS 7.8 music on QNAP TS419p via NFS* iThingys/iPeng/Tablets *Living Room* - SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 - > Celestion Ditton F20s - Zone 2 -> Sony TA FE 320 -> Sennheiser RS 130 & B P7 *Office* - RPi -> Sony TA FE320 -> Celestion F10s / SB3 -> Onkyo CRN 755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - SB Touch -> Topping TP21 -> AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - Amazon Fire TV (SB Player) -> Topping TP20 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105187 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
