Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Apple will require HTTPS connections for iOS apps by the end of 2016
OK, I tested it. Works fine for iOS 10 for local and with an exception for MySB. That said: it's not backwards compatible to iOS 8/9 and won't work for remote access. I'd probably give trying to convince the App Review a try. I could live with the "no remote access part" since I plan to include a VPN client anyway (which would probably include it into "local") and this would be a good excuse to finally do that. But I'm not yet willing to give up on iOS 8/9 compatibility just yet. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 9, the Universal App for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106426 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The cast button should just show up, if there is a Chromecast on your network and it is properly setup on your device. It would be in the top left on a phone and bottom right on a tablet. However, if it is a Chromecast Audio, it may not show up since Squeeze Ctrl does not send audio to the Chromecast, only Now Playing info. -- Squeezebox apps for webOS, Android and Windows Phone, http://www.angrygoatapps.com wt0's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18760 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96757 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Track info over bluetooth on car display using Orange Squeeze?
For Squeezeboxes, it has to be the controller that sends the metadata because the players do not receive any metadata from the server, only control information and the URL to stream from. Squeeze Ctrl supports sending metadata thru Bluetooth. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] LastMix - Another mixer to feedDon't Stop The Music
Hello, I'm really enjoying the plugin since I discovered it today :) Unfortunately for you Michael... using LastFM give me so much ideas, that could be added to make it more fun and more powerful :D Of course, like smartmix in the past, a way to modify the recipes should be given in your exciting plugin !! (but you probably already knew it !) Let's imagine that you make a party with friends, and thous friends (or some of them) have a lastFM account too. A "Present Friends Mode" might be a nice idea, no ? The LastFM username of each friends present could be added to the recipe, and the playlist could be populated with prefered artists and/or tracks of each friend automatically. LastFM API should allow it : user.getTopArtists / User.getTopTracks Long Life to LastMix (and LastFM). Thank you Michael (I won't hesitate to report issues if necessary) mathojojo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66246 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105915 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Apple will require HTTPS connections for iOS apps by the end of 2016
After some more research, it appears we will be fine. https://developer.apple.com/library/prerelease/content/documentation/General/Reference/InfoPlistKeyReference/Articles/CocoaKeys.html Apple has introduced a new key "NSAllowsLocalNetworking to allow loading of local resources without disabling ATS for the rest of your app". > An optional Boolean value that, when set to YES, removes App Transport > Security protections for connections to unqualified domains and to > .local domains, without disabling ATS for the rest of your app. > If you set this keys value to YES, then App Transport Security ignores > the value of the NSAllowsArbitraryLoads key in iOS 10 and later and in > macOS 10.12 and later. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)

I am having a similar problem with CCV. Volume starts off very low. I've boosted it in the Chromecast app, and turned the TV up so I can hear the audio fine. But adjusting audio from LMS and Squeeze Commander is problematic. It will get louder, but sometimes restarts the track/radio stream. It also always returns the fader to zero immediately, although the audio volume remains the same. Would it help if I added a log (need to work out how to do this). jeztastic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30053 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104614 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Just wanted to chime in as I am having the same problems as the OP. Love your plugin and very grateful for the time you have put in to it. However my partner has started streaming from her tablet as she can't stand the constant rebuffering. I am running LMS on a Raspbery Pi 2 with Raspbian, and, like the OP, a dodgy Vodaphone homehub type router and homeplugs for the network. Unfortunately changing the home network is not an option as Vodafone have the router completly locked down (do not get broadband from Vodafone). jeztastic's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30053 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106230 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
