After using LMS for many years I never found a need for that tag but found it annoying at times. So, I loaded my library into MP3Tag and deleted all the Composer tags, which cleaned up some of the menus that became cluttered with that info. That's a feature. I'm in the UK and I'd love to get involved with testing if you're still looking for new people. I have 3x Classics, 1x Radio and 1x Touch, plus occasionally use my iPad via iPeng. I have two Echo dots (in rooms that have squeezeboxes). One of the SBs is called "Cinema" which I don't think you have listed yet, but I can rename it if necessary. That's by design. Some people want it one way (showing all artist roles was one of the often made change requests before iPeng 7) some the other. There's no usable LMS setting or I'd use that. And iPeng already has way too many settings so it's now as it is. But I use Sitecom Homeplugs (connected to the router via electricity net ) to provide Wfi in the house, could this cause a problem for Squeeze2cast? The WHS is wired to the network but the Chromecast uses Wifi. Do you know if the method you have used in the plugin for discovery of the Chromecast differs to Google's add-in for the Chrome browser? Everything fine (thanks a lot to the developpers) except that after a few (10 to 20) minutes when listening HD (24/96) flac files the cubox crashes. Not only LMS. When I click on the cover symbol in the upper left corner while a song is playing, I get the cover expanded to fullscreen and then on the bottom I get information about the Song Title, the Album Title, etc. In addition iPeng shows me all the composers or - when there are none in the tags - the track artist. Example: -- Is there a way to change this output that I will get only and always the ? It's kind of too much info there... As far as I could check (O do not know that much about how the plugin works): I went to chartlyrics.com and did a "Search Query". After that I got the lyrics on the web page. Is just the landing page back online or does chartlyrics actually work (lyrics search)? Well, I just figured out that the webpage of chartlyrics.com was offline and is now back online. The lyrics in iPeng still don't work. [SlimDevices: Plugins] spotify plugin on LMS synology nas
I had previously a cheaper zyxel nsa325 NAS, but replaced it recently by a synology ds415 which has the LMS software included... So I installed the LMS on the synology ds415 and everything works fine for my local music, but after I installed the 3th party spotify plugin, it seems to work, but everything within the spotify app is very slow, I allways get errors in the logging. Yes, with the Perl update Synology reverted the Audio::Scan version back
to 0.93. This means no DSD support.
I already made a request to update CPAN/auto/Audio/Scan/Scan.so.
