Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Family for Squeezebox
Hi, I noticed that when the playlist "Discover Weekly" (generated by Spotify) is included among my playlists the playlist retrieval on the Squeezebox is very slow, seem to be timing out after 30s. Playlists/contents of individual playlists are still displayed, but with a delay of 30 s. After removing the "Discover Weekly" list it works as normal, takes a couple of seconds to get playlists. There is an onclick attribute to that button which causes a Alert popup to be displayed, that's all. Having that, and to the OP, you do not have to generate the config file, if you wait ~30s, it will auto-generate. The "generate" button is just to force that if you want to. If nothign happens, it means that the binary helper is either not selected or crashing. Hello Spotify helper app port is by default 5005 (visible on LMS-web-interface on my pc browser) LMS runs on synology, including plugins. There is no firewell used on Synology towards internet. Of course, my internet gateway, blocks all connection from internet to my home private LAN Why should I open this port on my internet gateway towards LMS server ? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
Hi Philippe, thank you so much for the support you're giving! Really appreciate it. Quick question- I'm trying to install the Chromecast plugin for the first time in my Synology based LMS, but I'm stuck because the "generate" button doesn't appear. See picture attached. Anything I can do?
