Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Google Music plugin
Really strange. But maybe I am "missing" something else. Because the error messages I get in the log file look slightly different than the ones in the ProtocolHandler fix discussion on GitHub. I get the following two lines for each file I [17-02-20 23:10:34.4703] Slim::Formats::RemoteStream::open (106) Can't open socket to [r3---sn-4g5e6nez.c.doc-0-0-sj.sj.googleusercontent.com:443]: 22: Invalid argument [17-02-20 23:10:34.4709] Slim::Player::Song::open (471) Warning: stream failed to open [googlemusic:track:T5o4cms4li65pwu6ig3xiunas7u]. One thing that just came to my mind: I switched my ISP (from T-Online to Unitymedia in Germany) a few months ago. Although I can't really say if I ever used the plugin successfully after that switch. Could it be that the connection itself is somehow "blocked"? As additional data points: - Searching through GPM All-Inclusive is working perfectly fine from LMS, just playback doesn't work. - I can stream from GPM in my home network on mobile devices as well as on my main PC through browser interface. I tried to search Google for those messages but didn't get very far, maybe because I am just not understanding the topic enough. Any help is appreciated! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Success: MusicIP and Spicefly Sugarcube running on Raspberry Pi
Hi Frank, I finally got to trying this out. Unfortunately it didn't work as seemlessly as I had hoped. First, I am trying this on a max2play installation on an Odroid U3. I had put different lines to the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/i386.list. As the max2play installation on the Odroid is not based directly on Debian/Raspian Jessie, but refers to an ubuntu port of Trusty Tar, I had to put deb [arch=i386] http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty main restricted universe multiverse deb [arch=i386] http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-updates main restricted universe multiverse deb [arch=i386] http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty-security main restricted universe multiverse Before I was trying to use your lines in that file. binfmt-support and qemu-user installed fine, but for the installation of the libc6:i386 I got tons of dependency errors, referring to all kinds of base system tools and libs that I didn't specify to install. Looked like it was trying to do a kind of dist-upgrade from trusty to jessie or something like this. After finding those three lines referring to trusty, libc6:i386 installed fine. When I am then trying to start the MusicMagicServer I get the following error message /home/odroid/Software/Squeezebox/musicip/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer/MusicMagicServer: 1: /home/odroid/Software/Squeezebox/musicip/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer/MusicMagicServer: Syntax error: "(" unexpected And that's where I am stuck. As this is an executable it looks like the binfmt-support doesn't kick in, although when I try to start it with sudo /etc/init.d/binfmt-support start it states that it has already been started. I am pretty confident that the file is not corrupted from the download. There is only one Linux related download on the page you referred to and all the human readable files in the MusicIP archive look fine. Is there any hint anyone can give me? I am a little bit lost when it comes to qemu/binfmt related stuff and only tried to follow the Howto as close as possible. Thanks in advance for any bit of help, cheers, Seb "The only word I know is 'Grunt' - and I can't spell it" (R.I.P. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Success: MusicIP and Spicefly Sugarcube running on Raspberry Pi
I did the steps for MusicIp installation only (not Spicefly at the moment) and it's apparently working well, I can have Musicip mixes, but I have a few problems with LMS, I don't know if it's related with MusicIP: it seems slower than before and the scanning crashes during the artist picture lookup. I restarted LMS and had the same. Then I stopped the mm server and ran a new scan. It finished normally. Are you having the same problem ? do you thing it's related with the MusicIp server ? I also have some problems with the dynamic playlist plugin http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?107004-Dynamic-Playlists-plugin-not-showing-my-own-playlists-on-RPi. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce - Song info plugin for FIP radio
As an example - with logging enabled in LMS for the RadioFrance plugin - I just did a search from LMS UI for "FIP Autour du Jazz" - and I then played it. It played http://chai5she.cdn.dvmr.fr/fip-webradio2.mp3 which was redirected from http://direct.fipradio.fr/live/fip-webradio2.mp3 which is exactly the same URL as given in the PDF - which shows FIP autour du jazz WEBRADIO http://direct.fipradio.fr/live/fip-webradio2.mp3 There is nothing wrong with using the PDF - but, from my testing, it goes to the same place as LMS via TuneIn. There /might/ be some cases where TuneIn returns more than one stream URL and LMS plays the lo-fi version - although I don't see that happening here. So I think that most people will find it easier to use the built-in search function in LMS, especially if they don't come to the forum and happen to find the PDF. If one day in the future we lose access to TuneIn then having the direct URLs will, of course, be very useful. LMS uses FFW/REW for streams with a defined duration. In 1.5.* I tried as a UI test, I overlaid the FFW and REW with skip back and skip forward but there some situations where LMS beahviour was confusing which some users found unsatisactory so it was decided to to stick to "More" menu items as functionality was then clear and separate. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106409 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Hi all. First, sorry for my bad english. Help me to configure Bridge plugin. I have a problem with pause/resume music. I use Kodi on my RaspberryPI, and play music from LMS to Kodi through bridge plugin. So, when I pause playing music and watch movie, after the movie finish, music continue play from next track. If I press STOP on my Kodi remote (Yatse), also music continue play from next track. Help me please, how to avoid this?
