Hm, how is this more secure than what Meep is doing? I mean... TLS and everything but this still requires you to open up your server machine to the internet and as security issues are this should at least involve staying up to date with known security issues in e.g. your TLS client on a daily basis because, you know, these big security issues that made the news in recent years were all about issues in security software like OpenSSL... So if such an issue shows up again (or it's not yet fixed on your NAS) you can fall victim to port scan attacks with such a setup. Not too likely but possible, some such bugs have been around (and used!) for years. I've some problems as well. UI is borked. I will check their update this
evening and see what they did. Might even have the time to update the
Armada375 and x86_64 packages.

done, but that selected the root volume of my music repository in the directories to scan, not very funny bevause I have a lot of files (4TB) in a temp folder that are waiting to be correctly tagged... so I wanted to interrupt the scan and that didn't go well, my NAS froze. Impossible to restart LMS after 2 reboots of the NAS. I reinstalled I also reinstalled DSDPlay plugin from the list and enabled DoP for my player but all DSD tracks are either skipped or freeze LMS... Is that the latest one or do we still have to get the new one from another source? Unbelievable, Synology just updated their package with the DSD fix.
Please update to the official package 164, and test if it's working.

As mentioned a while ago, I've been developing (on and off) a DIY Alexa Skill for Squeezebox integration and been using it successfully at home for a while now. Anyway - it's now improved and open-sourced on Github: HTTPS://GITHUB.COM/DECLENSION/SQUEEZE-ALEXA This is a separate approach from Meep's excellent work on hab-tunes (we have discussed some common areas though). Currently it's definitely techies only I'm afraid (no actual coding but you'll need to know a bit of Linux, Networking, SSL... and have Amazon developer accounts). The pay-off is it's optimised for speed and security I guess.
