You could use "aplay" for sounds. Also, look at the Touch, I *think* it uses a Wolfson WM8974 (mono) DAC for sounds. BBC are not giving out keys to non BBC users. I've looked at the API in detail by "borrowing" a key from an App hoping that keys would be made available and T changed. At the moment using Nitro is not a feasible approach for a plugin in general use. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72709 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I don't think so. The Squeezebox Touch achieves that trick by running a cutdown LMS locally on the Touch. Hi Steve, Check out our 'Bluetooth plugin' (https://www.max2play.com/en/portfolio/plugin-bluetooth-2/)! You can use it either to pair a BT speaker for Squeezelite or to stream from a smartphone or tablet directly to Squeezelite or to the LMS. Here's a video I did on its functionality (creates a BT channel in the LMS): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mt96_jnxnnU Max2Play's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66120 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107097 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The BBC message has been there for a good while although IIRC it used to say April nor May - so I'm guessing there may be some feeds still working but the Extras use are gone. I already checked the JSON as that would be a quick fix but the ones Extra would use are not working. I did a quick check on screen scraping (i.e.parse HTML) and it looks feasible but take more development, is most volatile and prone to breaking often as web site is "tweaked". bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72709 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

This may not actually be the BBC pulling the feeds - it could just be a more minor outage. The service message says that the service is supposed to continue until May 2017 and although it's close we aren't there yet. It also says that the JSON service will continue beyond May and unless I've misunderstood the URLs, that is currently not working either. Having said this, I'm well aware that they've shown a fairly unilateral approach to community interaction in the past...
