Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Family for Squeezebox

I'm aware of Spotty, it works fine but is not the same thing.
I was hoping to not have to use my phone to control Spotify on my
Squeezebox Radio but I can live with it...

You don't need a phone. You can navigate most of the Spotify content
right there on your player. Back to Squeezebox 1 and SliMP3, it's all
compatible.

Check your firewalls or AV systems. Something might be blocking the
spotty.exe helper application.

Well, If I really knew what I was doing I would just go somewhere and
hide... Anyway, I have yet to get Spotty to "successfully" authenticate
from my Production LMS machine. My backup machine seemed to
authenticate fine. Both are Win 7 machines and on the same network. I
tried copying the authentication folder that was created in my backup
system to my production system and then Spotty proceeded to the
configuration page where I could select which Squeeze instances I could
connect to. Making the selections basically hung up LMS rendering it
unusable until I terminated the service. Not sure really what to do
next. I do appreciate all the guidance I've been given so far.

If you look at line 833, this is where the error occurs. Here I send the
information for the next stream and, although it's the same syntax &
data than any previous or following one, it answers with a RTSP error.
This is a sort of "low level" error I have no idea why it happens. How
often does it happen? Is this really only when you skip tracks
"manually". Can you try enable encryption? It is obviously not needed
but I'm wondering if the player is simply not unhappy because of the
(too) fast chaining of RTSP commands.

Thanks,

I'm aware of Spotty, it works fine but is not the same thing.
I was hoping to not have to use my phone to control Spotify on my
Squeezebox Radio but I can live with it...

Regarding SpotifyFamily I was hoping for an easy fix for the playlists
since everything else (recent albums, recent artists, search, ...) still
works as before.
Then why it works when it apperantly should not (libspotify...) is
another matter. :)

It worked after doing apt-get upgrade libcrypt-openssl-rsa-perl
It's strange, it worked before update

I'm now trying to setup a mood in MusicIP. I added a rock.m3u file in
this folder: /home/osmc/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer/moods

So, on my old pc where I ran this command in the browser:
http://192.168.1.101:10002/api/mix?mood=rock, it would return a mix in
my browser.
When I run this in the same browser:
http://192.168.1.11:10002/api/mix?mood=rock, I get this error message:
MusicIP API error - invalid request or internal error.

When I use squeeze control on my phone, I can't select any mood at all,
or I can't find where to do it.

Can someone test running the above command with their own IP address and
there own mood like: http://ipaddress:10002/api/mix?mood=yourmood
Does it give a mix? Any other help is also appreciated.

I've attached a log now. I've started to play a playlist from Spotify
and the first track was played. When I skipped to the second track no
sound was present but I saw in iPeng that the track is playing. When
skipping to the third track all was fine again and I was able to hear
the song.

Maybe you can see something in the log, I did found nothing :-).

Cheers and thanks again,

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: YouTube Plugin (API v3)

2018-07-12 Thread Zombie

Hello!
Overstretched myself and tried to get YouTube up and running.
My attemtps stop here:
- click "Get Code" and if nothing appears to its right, just click
"Refresh" or refresh this LMS page
- copy the code in red and click "Click here to authorize" link . You'll
be prompted by YouTube to enter the code
- return to the LMS main screen, you can now use "My Subcriptions" and
"My Playlists"
- to remove authorizations, go to Google Console Permissions

There isn't any code in red. And nowhere to click. What might be the
problem?
