The wording is perhaps not the best - I'll try to think of better text for the next release. When clicking on items in the browse view, if its an artist/album/etc the you navigate into it. If it was a music track, nothing would happen. With this option enabled, the menu that is produced by clicking on the music track's "..." button will be shown. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Like it says. Show context menu when clicking anywhere on an audio item. If "Always show menu" is turned off then the context menu will only be displayed when clicking on the three dots on the right and clicking on a track name will do nothing. I know what you mean and I struggled with the best way to do this. The problem I had was that there is no tray icon if you disable run in background, so I needed to always have a taskbar icon for the minibrowser, just in case it is the only window. If not "run in background", closing the main window closed the app. I'll give it some more thought. Perhaps I can add some conditional logic to only have a single taskbar icon or conditionally not have the minibrowser taskbar icon if there is a tray icon. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
Great work going on with the new skin. Can't wait to try it. Meanwhile, I've been using SLX *a lot* lately. One thing that seems... "off": I use the MiniPlayer a lot and I think it should not reside in the taskbar. I know I first asked to change its name but the more I use the more I get convinced it doesn't make sense for it to be there. I explain. When you are using the miniplayer, you see it in the taskbar. If you minimize it, it goes in the taskbar. If you expand it, it stays in the taskbar. But if you click on the tray icon, you get the expanded version and now two entries in the taskbar. If you reduce to miniplayer this second "instance" you are left with a single Miniplayer window (and that's correct). I guess it would be better for Miniplayer not to be in the taskbar. It takes away space for something you can in any case control from the tray icon. This way, when you expand it you would get a single taskbar instance (which I feel is less confusing behaviour). I hope my explanation was clear. gorman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
A few days ago, over at a Computer Audiophile forum, I asked David Craff from Qobuz for help. I wrote: *"Perhaps David from Qobuz can lend a hand...I, as well as many others(judging from their online presence) enjoy Qobuz via LMS/Squeeze plugin. The terrific folks who wrote and maintain the software inform us that the 500 favorites and/or playlists limit cannot be increased from their end. After years as a subscriber, I'm forced to remove existing favorites so that I can access additional favorites. This is not the case when using the desktop(OSX) app or the IOS app. I'm not keen on replacing my Transporter for the sake of ditching LMS. Please comment. Thank you." * He graciously answered me(immediately) with this: *"We do have a limit of 500 when requesting favorites on our API. But the limit is only on the call in order to limit the response time. However, we can pass the parameters "limit", "offset" and with the total number of favorites, recompose end by end, all the favorites. For example, the first call can forward the first 500 favorites to the user's 2349. Then a second call is made with the "offset" parameter on a value of 501 and the "limit" parameter on a value of 500 to have the next 500 favorites and so on until the total number of favorites is reached. The limit is not mandatory since it is a maximum of 500, but it is preferable to make calls with less results (50 or 100 for example)"* Does this mean that it is possible to increase the number of favorites that the Qobuz plugin can display? Hope so. I, unfortunately, do not have the chops to pull it off. davidovada's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52810 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97146 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Sorry but I have found another instance where the "Now Playing" integration with MAI doesn't work in the same way as via the Queue/More and the reason is obvious This time its an Artist Information lookup Via Queue / More / Artist Info 25993 I have the album tagged with two Album Artists - MAI is quite capable of dealing with it by asking which you want to lookup Via Now Playing Simply hangs with Fetching 25994 I do appreciate that the use case here may be unusual i.e. 2 x Album Artists but it is the method I use of grouping albums together under one artist. The above isn't a great example but if I was playing Road to Escondido by J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton then the Album Artist tag would look like this - J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton; J.J. Cale; Eric Clapton - which sorts said album undr all three artists. Its unusual but I don't think its uncommon. +---+ |Filename: 2018-11-15 11_46_01-Window.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=25994| +---+ VB2.4 STORAGE *QNAP TS419P (NFS) Living Room* - Joggler & SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 -> Celestion F20s *Office* - Pi3+Sreen -> Sony TAFE320 -> Celestion F10s / Pi2+DAC & SB3 -> Onkyo CRN755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - Pi2+DAC ->ToppingTP21 ->AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - SB Touch ->Sherwood AVR ->Mordaunt Short M10s Everything controlled by iPeng d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

This skin is becoming really quite good and has the capacity to become the default for anyone that has an HTML5 browser (which should be 99% of people). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
Philippe - quick Q.: I recently figured out that my Spotty as well as the Radio Paradise plugin have an issue with players using large buffers. And as I've just had another report of a CastBridge user having a problem with RP, I was wondering whether this could be the case here. How large are your buffers? I know of people who set their squeezelite to use hundreds of megs as audio buffers. And that was causing problems. Basically: if the buffer is larger than "a few tracks" (eg. 100MB), then these plugins could run into issues. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Radio Paradise Lossless Streaming (Plugin v2)
Hi Michael, not sure whether I should be directing this to you or Philippe but notwithstanding the above fix, I am still am experiencing issues with the Radio Paradise FLAC stream when used in conjunction with Philippe's CastBridge and a CCA device. Much the same as previous posts, presumably for the same reason. I can play a group of tracks then the stream stops and has to be started manually. Do you think this is a limitation of the hardware (CCA) which prevents a software fix. Having no problems at all streaming with Squeezelite (my old squeezebox is now dead). In that case I'd like to blame Philippe's plugin... -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

if (undefined!=this.serverTop && this.serverTop.length>0) { That's pretty much the condition I set for the breakpoint there to see who is calling it ;-). this.serverTop[0]=this.top[0]; } else { this.serverTop=[this.top[0]]; } And yes, that seems to be fixing it. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

It also explains why I never see it happen. Changing (line 397): Code: this.serverTop=[this.top[0]]; To Code: if (undefined!=this.serverTop && this.serverTop.length>0) { this.serverTop[0]=this.top[0]; } else { this.serverTop=[this.top[0]]; } Should resolve the issue. All this does is initialise the translation of "My Music" cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
In playerMenu() - Change line 1100 to var serverTop = []; That didn't change anything. But I think I've found the trigger: if the language file is received after the menu has been created, the list is being wiped. The language file download would trigger "langChanged", which in turn would cause "initItems" to be called - which wipes the current menu. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
