This opens https://player.radio.com/listen/station/wgr-sports - Right click anywhere (??) on the page and choose "Inspect" . A new window will open on the right with a lot of code. [I'm using Chrome, but there are probably equivalent features in other browsers]. - Select "Network" from the top menu of the window on the right. "Media" will be selected in the second row below the top level (containing the selected "Network") - Press the Play button visible in the window on the left (https://player.radio.com/listen/station/wgr-sports). - Immediately the audio URL will appear under "Name" in the left column of the right window. - Select that URL. Right click on it, Select "Copy", the "Copy link address" from the submenu. - Paste the link in your browser (or better still in a media player like vlc.com). The copied link address is https://17473.live.streamtheworld.com/WGRAM.mp3?SRC=CBS&DIST=CBS&TGT=cbslocalplayer&tdsdk=js-2.9&pname=TDSdk&pversion=2.9&banners=none%2Cnone%2Cnone&sbmid=b99879d7-df7a-4213-d7b5-ab050f315d34 - This will play. But all that is needed is the first part ending before the "?". - This leaves https://17473.live.streamtheworld.com/WGRAM.mp3 This will play in browsers and media players. - For adding this URL as a favorite in Logitech Media Server, remove the 's' from https, and you get http://18073.live.streamtheworld.com/WGRAM.mp3 Try this process with WGR, or other radio website. Why would those playlists not be in the data returnied by Spotify's API? Anything special with them? That's a question you'd have to ask Spotify :-). What I find really odd is that I was able to follow those playlists, and they would show up here. Yep. Squeezelite-X will do that. It will do it for its own built in player, or even for any other player. And the remote thing works too. In one room I have some Klipsch Speakers with a remote control and the remote control works with Squeezelite-X, too. You can get it from the Microsoft Store or from my OneDrive site if you dont have Windows 10. If you do have Windows 10, just get it from the Store. It is free. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: LMS Controls - Google Home / Google Assistant Voice Control of LMS Players
@kalimeroo, That is exactly the issue. As mentioned above, in order to make this work now, the dialogflow method has to be implemented properly using HA intents, returning a valid JSON to Google Assistant. I will likely create a short term patch to make it work as it was, then do a better job of re-structuring the HA code to suit this method and add a few new features like feedback of query results and allow a more feedback from HA like: - "What's playing in the kitchen", which would return name of artist, album and song - "Who's at home" " - What's the temperature in the house" - And whatever else HA happens to know I should have something workable fairly soon. Will keep you posted. If you send me an email address, perhaps I can share the first rough draft as you already have the backend working with Long-lived tokens. yl...@vianet.ca ynot. *software* - logitech media server version: 7.9.1, home assistant 0.75.3, dialogflow - v.2 api, lms controls app - voice control of lms, openmediavault 4.1.9 - storage *add-ons* - spotty, upnp / dlna bridge, chromecast bridge, *players* - sonos, upnp, pi3 - pi core player 3.5.0, android- sb player v1.4.0, airplay to googlehome and minis *hardware* - server - i7-3.4ghz, 4gb ram, 6tb storage, debian - 4.16.5 ynot1234567890's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66569 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109273 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: LMS Controls - Google Home / Google Assistant Voice Control of LMS Players
I probably experience the same issue. I went on and created an action on google console and then created a new project and then an action in Dialogflow. When testing the app in Dialogflow in works fine but if I then integrate it to google assistant and run the test I get the error "LMS control isn't responding right now. Try again soon." During the integration step if I change the Explicit invocation from "Default Welcome intent" to any other intent it will respond once and then fallback to the error message (If I set the intent to "play_album" it responds "Alright. Getting the test version of LMS control.Which radio station ") . The home-assistant.log file contains a line of ^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@^@ so I guess there is some kind of communication. kalimeroo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68671 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109273 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.6.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I go in Spotty - to the spotify playlist and then play it (with Shuffle enlabled) - it shuffles - so it's not the order in the playlist but if I do not modfy teh pleaylist ist always the same "shuffled" order. What do you consider "modify the playlist"? Can you give me step by step instructions how to reproduce this using eg. the web UI? Please note that there are three shuffle modes: off, album, everything. In the case of a Spotify playlist most likely only the last one would work, as the album mode would try to keep albums together. This might fail as we don't always have the album information needed for this. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.6.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Well, you asked for it... :-) And I have turned it off. I was just surprised myself how much data 700 playlists would generate: when you want to browse your 700 playlists, Spotty will have to download 100MB of data or more. Just to get that list! Sure, data should be compressed during transfer, but still, that's quite a bit of data. Now I found something interesting. The spotify web player does not show the lists either. Something with the backend perhaps..? Yeah, might be. This is one playlist that I can't find: spotify:user:spotify: playlist:37i9dQZF1DWZwtERXCS82H And another one that I for sure have seen in the list because I have used it a lot during the passed months. spotify:user:spotify: playlist:37i9dQZF1DX4xuWVBs4FgJ None of these would be in the data returned by Spotify's API. Made some progress, the Webhook function in DialogFlow no longer works properly using the brute force method I used previously . I did manage however to make HA and DialogFlow work using proper intent structures and long-lived tokens (rather than the deprecated API_Password) which in the end will be a lot more flexible allowing additional new features like "What's playing in the kitchen?". It will however require some re-structuring of code on the HA side of things. Should have a working prototype back online in the near future. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.6.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Hi, I have just updated both Logitech Media Server Version : 7.9.2-1543258616 And Spotty plugin Version: 2.6.3 But I get the infamous error: "Spotty requires the Perl module IO::Socket::SSL. You can NOT use Spotty without this module. Please use your operating system's package manager to install it." My LMS is being run on an Asustor NAS with Entware 1.00 installed. I have searched a lot for the way to solve this but haven't quite found the right solution yet. I could really use some help.
