I think lms halts then reloads because if you refresh web browser lms main screen doesn't load up. Plus the music stops playing. Then takes minutes to restart lms. Don't have problem with 791 007. If you are saying that if you enable password protection on LMS all works fine, but if you do not enable password protection then you cannot connect to telnet, either directly or with SLX, then that indicates to me that LMS does not think the client is on the same subnet. Or there is some other weird problem in your network. Since you cannot connect via telnet directly (outside of SLX), I am assuming there is nothing I can do in SLX to solve the problem. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
Michael: I'm really liking the 'Text files from music folder' feature. Is that new, or have I just noticed it? Either way, thanks for this. I'm using it to view html composer bio pages I have stored and it seems to be working well. Question: In my bio.html pages, I'm referencing a css file for formatting: I store this css file in the 'grandparent' folder of the html file and create a link to this file at /usr/local/share/lms/server/HTML/Default/music.css Back when LMS supported tags imbedded in lyrics tags, this served me well. Clicking on the song lyrics would open the bio.html page in such a way that the css was correctly rendered. But some time ago, the lyrics rendering in the webUI stopped supporting tags. The MAI 'Text files from music folder' feature works nearly as well, with the bio.html page loading in a separate browser window. Unfortunately for me, though, the css file at "../../music.css" isn't available and the html renders with default formatting. The URL of the webpage that pops up when I use Text files from music folder->bio.html is: http://squeezenas-mini:9000/mai/localfile/bbfa6a6aca9ab3ea6b5c70cb01bb1fed/bio.html Is there any place that I can create a link so that music.css would be available from that /localfile/ virtual folder? I'd rather not have to edit 1000 bio.html pages if I don't have to. Thanks again for adding this feature. gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99537 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I will check this out later when I get home from work. I have not been able to replicate this on the PC (in either mobile or desktop mode) - it only appears to happen for me on my phone which is running Android. On Desktop or mobile device? All browsers? If you can recreate it on a desktop browser, can you: - start material: "http://HOSTNAME:9000/material/desktop?debug=json; (or "http://HOSTNAME:9000/material/mobile?debug=json;) - open browser's developer tools - open console tab - navigate in material to Artist>Album>Tracks - clear console log in developer tools - there will be a button in there somewhere to do this - select tracks - click the play button in the sub-toolbar - paste the output of the console window here This should let me know the messages Material sent to LMS, and the response received. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Again, does it *always* happen? Only in local music? Online sources? When showing Artist>Album>Tracks? Because I have tried server categories, YouTube, and still can't recreate.
