Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Bug-fix release, main changes: - If we have any query parameters, then add these to the webmanifest start_url. - When changing window width, wait until next tick to control queue menu items. - Set max height/width for images in album review. - If passed "?nativeColors" in URL query, then inform native app of toolbar and bottom navbar colours. - Remove diactrics when creating jumplists. - In now playing, if status has band and not albumartist then use that for albumartist - likewise with band_ids. - If fail to fetch biography and albumartist text is within artist text, then try to fetch biography of albumartist. - Back button navigates back in browse page. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. Open console tab in developer tools 4. REQ/RESP messages sent to/from LMS will be logged here. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Nevermind--figured it out. I did not know that clicking on the ellipsis (...) beside the player name will allow me to enter other startup switches for Squeezelite-Win. I did that and added "-D" and voila--DoP enabled and working. What doesn't seem to work is adding a delay to that parameter like so "-D200." I think I disabled pretty much everything multimedia related on the NAS. Are there any usual suspects? I've never fully understood what was going on here. It is much appreciated. Could I just echo the sentiment of this post? I too started with a Squeezebox Classic around 15 years ago - I just wanted to listen to a decent radio stream through my hifi. I never thought ripping CD's was ever going to work... I've been through and am still on the marginal roller coaster that using Squeezebox devices entails. From time to time I think about moving to a new infrastructure, but I then look at my devices humming away, lovingly looked after by the vets, medics and triage specialists on this forum - and I'm still 100% SB! Radio 4 is generally on here, Radio 5 when I'm feeling downright radical - although in these difficult Covid times I listen much more to the World Service which gives you the news without the speculation. I have this week - after 15 years! - offloaded LMS to a brand new sparkling, shiny Synology NAS (because they have always supported LMS). All thundering away wonderfully, and having reverted to this amazing forum, have just done a jig in the kitchen as I got my BBC logos back. Thank you so much to the developers here who keep us all ticking over, it is enormously appreciated. Meanwhile, just read that Synology are dropping support for LMS at the end of June 2020, so that went well! I have a naïve faith however that someone far brighter than me will keep me on the air - the Synology 218+has an Intel Celeron processor, does that help me? Big thanks to all from my two SB Touches, my Receiver and the Boom (which mysteriously is exactly an hour out when on LMS but on the correct time on mySB. Off to have a look at that in a mo. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
Does the AirPlay Bridge support Unicode player names? I renamed one player to "Küche" (in the Sonos app) and then changed the AirPlay Bridge name to "Küche", too. At that point, the player still is listed: "List of players currently in configuration file - Note that more devices might have been discovered Küche LMSaa:aa:b1:aa:bb:cc 48A6B8AABBCC@Küche._raop._tcp.local Sonos-48A6B8AABBCC" But the checkbox unchecks itself after clicking "Apply" and there's nothing I can do to fix that. If I rename the player in the Sonos app to "Bad" and then change the Airplay Bridge name to "Küche", it works. In other words, it's this part: 48A6B8AABBCC@Küche._raop._tcp.local that is causing trouble here. [SlimDevices: Plugins] wanted: Joggler-like Touch/Jive skin with larger fonts, for IR remote use (7" pCP)
Before I jump in and try to make a derivative of Jivelite's Joggler skin with larger fonts (or try to make pull request for adding font size options), has anybody released a Jive/Touch skin like Joggler that's remote-control friendly for 800x480 screens? My basic desire is to double the font size for the Joggler skin. This should make its text about the same size as is used by SB Touch in "remote" mode, and thanks to the larger display this should mean displaying about as much info on the 7" Jivelite player as SB Touch does in "touch" mode. (Of course what I'd *really* like is for Joggler skin on Jivelite on pCP to behave like SB Touch and use larger text when it has recently been controlled via IR codes. The current Joggler skin font size is great when the device is being controlled via touchscreen.) Thanks! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Hi, I would like to ask for some help, if it's ok. I have been using the bridge plugin for some time with QLogitechMediaServer on a QNAP nas device (TS-231P), but had some problems with its recent update. Now the plugin is not running and the settings page does not show the binary selection anymore. I think before I could select between armv6hf and armv6hf static. The SLimServer/Logs/server.log shows this: Code: Starting Logitech Media Server (v8.0.0, 1588799628, Wed May 6 23:54:57 CEST 2020) perl 5.024004 - arm-linux-gnueabihf-thread-multi-64int [20-05-08 22:05:30.2155] Plugins::UPnPBridge::Squeeze2upnp::start (94) no binary set I think the processor of the Qnap is armv7, 32bit. I saw in this thread that someone also had problems with this architecture and the plugin, but I thought that was resolved in later updates. I tried running the plugin manually (both ./squeeze2upnp-armv6hf-static and ./squeeze2upnp-armv6hf) in /SlimServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/UPnPBridge/Bin directory, and it gets stuck on Code: Start:1487 Binding to 192.168.0.155:49152 . But I'm not sure if the way I executed the file is the same as if it would be executed from LMS (if I could select the binary in the settings), because QLogitechMediaServer creates a separate environment (chroot, I believe) to run LMS in, so maybe the binary would behave differently than it does when I run it through SSH on the Qnap device. mnd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69064 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103728 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
