[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty - "Spotify credentials missing" every day
Every day for the last 2 weeks Spotty fails with a "Spotify credentials missing" message The first time it happened I created another Client ID, restarted LMS and it was working again . until the next day. I changed back to the old ID, restarted LMS and it was working again. Then I found that I just need to restart LMS leaving the Client ID the same, and it works again . until the next day. I am not aware of any changes to my system which caused this to start happening. It happens overnight when the system is not in use. I am running Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.3 - 1591161343 and Spotty 4.4.7 on Max2Play. Perhaps the following may help? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Actual Qobuz Audio Format
Thanks for the file. Unfortunately I seem to explicitly NOT log the particular call I'm interested in... Can you go one level deeper and enable logging for network.asynchttp? Play a track or two, then disable logging again - that log is even noisier. And use above link again to send the file. I'm also observing that the track info only shows a single output format on a (queue) track that is not playing. If the track is currently playing, the track info shows the two distinct formats (as above). Ok, that's a good hint. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Actual Qobuz Audio Format
So, my questions are... what is the actual format that Qobuz is playing? And, if it's actually playing only 44.1kHz/16-bit, can the SB Radio not play the higher resolution 24-bit version? That's odd... Could you please double check what the default skin or the player UI would report? There should never be two sample rate values etc. I'd say the bitrate is the most reliable value, as it's calculated based on the actual file data we receive. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Squeeze CTRL controls volume by various methods depending on preference selections of which there are several choices. I use finger swipe up and down on the album graphic which also then opens up the slider bar left to right which can then be used. I have had the issue of jump to 100% volume at track change when vol sync is selected on one of my amps (AVR-2113), but I note that I am using main zone on that amp. The other amp never had the problem but I am using zone 2 with that amp, so I have vol sync selected for it. The issue of not syncing with the player controls existed prior to your original changes, haven't had a chance yet to test your V2, but will shortly. Sort of. It fixes a problem where the client volume can spike up to 100% when trying to sync to the AVR volume. This commonly happens at track changes when "Enable synching the volume" is selected in the plugin player settings. I don't have Squeeze CTRL and I don't want to pony up the $6 when I'm happy using Squeezer, which is free. Does Squeeze CTRL change the volume via up/down arrow buttons, a slider, or both? If it uses up/down buttons, they wouldn't have worked at all before the version you have now. Now they should cause the AVR volume to be changed in 0.5dB increments in either direction. If they are used extensively for volume changes, the client volume display will eventually get out of sync with the player but that problem can be minimized by using the "Enable synching the volume" option, which will re-sync them at every track change (now without causing the client volume to spike to 100%). ;) Is this problem synching the player controls something new that started with my original changes? If so, I would ask that you try the new version and see if it takes care of it. All in all, volume control management should be much more stable and predictable with these changes. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Actual Qobuz Audio Format
I have a Qobuz Studio Premier membership, which has access to their highest Hi-Res audio formats. I've got LMS 8.2.0, and Qobuz plugin 2.4.6, with the "Preferred format" plugin setting set to "FLAC Hi-Res 24-bits / >96 kHz". When playing a "Hi-Res" capable track, I can't really tell which format is playing; The format given in the player window (when the Material "Display technical info" is selected) seems to indicate that it's likely only 44.1kHz/16-bit, given that the CBR rates are typically <= 800 kpbs. Additionally, the "More info" for the playing track shows something like the below, which indicates more than one output format (44.1kHz/16-bit, 44.1kHz/24-bit in this case) ??? 33325 33323 So, my questions are... what is the actual format that Qobuz is playing? And, if it's actually playing only 44.1kHz/16-bit, can the SB Radio not play the higher resolution 24-bit version? This Denial Of Service protection also, it seems, prevents the scanning of networks by CastBridge looking for Chromecast players, and also for that matter stops Squeezeboxes detecting the Logitech Media Server. I figured this out when I found that a Squeezebox Receiver would configure from factory default over Wi-Fi, but not wired Ethernet. Thanks for a great plugin!
