Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
Is there a way to display additional information coming from Qobuz e.g. information about artist and the Album. I have the Music & Artist Information plugin but it seems it doesn't get the info from Qobuz when viewing an album coming from Qobuz. I thought I did make some of it available through the trackinfo menu. But it certainly does not integrate with MAI. But this certainly sounds like areaonable idea. Also, make sure Template directory parameter in SQL Playlist settings page points to an empty directory and do NOT use the Download last version of existing playlists link in the plugin. My download server for templates are no longer available and using the link can corrupt template data. The error like the one you are getting typically occurs when the template directory points to a path where other files than sqlplaylist templates exist, I think it defaults to playlist dir which can contain a lot of other files that potentially cause issues. Using the download link in the plugin can also result in corrupted data. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: New versions of erlands plugins
Just upgraded from 7.9.3 to 8.1.1. I uninstalled the Erland's plugins I use and chose to reinstall the unsupported versions from the Plugins page. I use: Multi Library TrackStat Dynamic Playlists SQL Playlists Custom Browse Custom Clock Helper Unlike many others things are not going smoothly for me. At the moment I'm attempting to get SQL Playlists working. That means Dynamic Playlists is also installed. These use the relevant "artist_id" attributes in the player status messages - and these (I assume) are not present for online content. I don't use any subscription services, so can't check, but I'm 100% sure Radio Paradise will not have these IDs. *Material debug:* 1. just been experimenting with a USB HID volume knob if an alarm goes off, just mute with teh knob or turn teh volume down. when teh next alarm comes along it does indeed overide the knob settings with whatever volume the alarm is set for. Any chance of adding "Go to artist" and "Go to album" menu options when playing online content (Radio Paradise, Spotify) and right clicking on Album cover in bottom toolbar, similar to that for local content? For 2.3.6 I've implemented this as a 'pulse' effect on the volume button (for mobile layout) or volume label (for desktop). This is the same pulse effect that is used for the LMS refresh status indicator. I though this better than just using a red colour, as that might not be that noticeable with coloured toolbars. *Material debug:* 1. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty 4.4.8 not showing up as a device in Spotify app when running LMS in Docker
Following up with some more info that I have found. The LMS docker image from user "ptoulouse" at https://hub.docker.com/r/ptoulouse/logitechmediaserver mentions the following in the comments: > # Some plugins require the container to run in host mode (e.g. Spotty, > # Shairtunes 2W). Uncomment the following line if required. > # network_mode: "host" So it seems that when using Spotty one has to run the container in "network mode = host"? Are there any users out there who has succeeded with running the LMS docker in bridged mode and have Spotty working as well? I am able to get LMS work in bridged mode as well as the Radio plugin but Spotty will only work for me if I run the container in host mode instead of bridged mode. Reading this interesting post here in this forum does indeed indicate that it is necessary to run LMS docker container in host mode to get Spotty to work: 'Host Networking method for docker container is required to get Spotty to work' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?111828-Official-docker-container-for-LMS=976721=1#post976721) CrazyFin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35625 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114238 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

That menu is now cached ... so if you change the filter then will take up to 10 minutes to have an effect. Hopefully that is the reason. Edit: I think I'll turn off that cache anyway as it is only saving a few loops of processing of locally held data anyway. I've just updated, and it seems that I can no longer see all the different stream types for a particular station. In the settings the preferred list of stream types had defaulted to 'mp3hq112', but even when I clear that field, restart LMS and refresh my browser view, I'm still being taken directly to the mp3hq112 stream for GHR (East Midlands) without being shown the other stream options. I just uploaded 0.0.1k - main change here is to speed up matching stream to station when it is selected via RadioFeeds. Unless someone spots a big issue in next 30 minutes then I intend to convert this to the first release and put it in the official unofficial plugin list. I have also added -a :::0 after getting a lot of re-buffering after an update a month or two ago. But I still get occasional re-buffering. It works 100% perfectly on streaming radio, but when playing my FLACs every so often it locks up for about 30s, and eventually gets going again. This happens infrequently (every day or two) - everything is Ethernet wired - LMS 7.9.2 - 1578996832 on Pi4 - 4GB - 2 x SB3s, SqueezeLite on Pi4, SqueezeLite on a Windows 10 PC (purely to get Pay/Pause keys to work) - all players sync'd - Music via Pi's headphone output - 230GB FLAC library on USB stick in Pi ExecStart=/usr/bin/squeezelite -o plughw:CARD=Headphones,DEV=0 -n Pi_SqueezeliteService -C 5 -a :::0 Everything worked 100% perfectly until I did a full-upgrade on the Pi a couple of months ago.
