The Android Spotify app has a new feature that shows Recently Played, but it only shows stuff played through the official App and Spotty plugin listening doesn't appear. This made me wonder if listening via Spotty plugin is recorded against my Spotify account at all and as a result feeds what Spotify suggests and curates for my account. Unfortunately there is an issue with librespot (the library I'm using to get the streams from Spotify). There's no API to report played tracks, and librespot has to reverse engineer everything. And this part hasn't been covered yet. Yes, I'm using Daphile but I haven't another system prepared to act as a LMS. But good to know that the transcoding pipeline is working differently. This may explain the different experience. @Michael - I thought you made a change to the Qobuz plugin such that even if you have selected 24/>96 the stream from Qobuz gets downsampled to match the player capablity. I am able to play 24/192 via the Qobuz plugin with the setting "FLAC Hi-Res 24 Bits/>96 kHz" to a Squeezebox Touch. is there a solution or workaround for this behaviour? I haven't found any further conversation but probably I missed it. The workaround is... only using lower bitrates. But no solution yet. I don't have an account to test this with. Can you precisely explain what happens when you try to stream the highest bitrate to the Touch? Would you get any error message? Hello, i pushed the next update. There should now be more meta data displayed in the episode info. In addition to that i implemented a pseudo protocol handler which gets the streaming url from the episode id. With that favorites are now independent of their streaming URL, which can change due to caching in e.g. Akamai servers. The next step is to do the same for shows and playlists. If you have ideas or feature requests for the plugin just write a post here. I haven't found any further conversation but probably I missed it. I've a 24/192 capable player in my ecosystem and want to take advantage streaming higher sample rates. My other three players can only reproduce 24/96 but when I choose "FLAC Hi-Res 24 Bits/>96 kHz" it's like decribed there is no downsampling by LMS or Plugin. One of the players is my Daphile where I have an option to set the max sample rate which is working fine then but I missing the same for my SBT devices.
