Wow, that's hilarious- and one of the last things I would have thought to check. Totally offtopic: A colleague got me in the habit of naming devices after fictional computers and robots - TARS was one of the bots in Interstellar, and I have/had several with 4 letters, including a Gort (The Day the Earth Stood Still), a Zima (Alastair Reynolds' Zima Blue) and a Zero (a droid in the Mandalorian voiced by Richard Ayoade). agt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70783 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114611 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Denon AVP Control Plugin
mctr wrote: > Just turning off fixed volume/AVR volume control. We handle this in the plugin by ignoring the command and instead setting the volume to the initial volume specified in the Quick Select for that player. However, this is currently done only for the SB Touch player. What player software and version are you running on your RPi? If you could cut and paste the player info from the LMS Information page under "Player Information", that would be very useful. Thanks for your help. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Using iPeng on iOS 15, I don't have lock screen controls. Unlike every other audio app I use, the lock screen is usually blank when I am playing something to a Squeezebox device from iPeng using my iPhone/iPad. I think I get them briefly after interacting with iPeng, but they don't last long. This didn't start with iOS 15 - I don't remember ever consistently having lock screen controls for iPeng. Just thought I would ask about it today :) Is this a known issue or is there a known fix? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Hi, I am using the LMS APK v 0.2.0 on an Android 10 mobile and the artwork is missing for BBC Sounds, Planet Radio and RadioNet. The artwork displays correctly for 'Local Radio' and other radio sources, 'My Music' etc. The artwork displays fine in a browser window. I have tried clearing the cache+storage and reinstalling to no avail. It used to work, not sure what I did to break it, Any suggestions how to fix? paul pshepherd's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9779 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I've just noticed that in the latest version of Material the queue pane is fixed so a blank space is shown rather than the left hand pane being expanded to fit the window / screen. This is true on the material app - squeezelite-X and in a browser. This makes using the search more complicated as its handy to turn off the queue and have the results displayed on the whole screen. +---+ |Filename: material.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=36523| +---+ steve-g's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=52057 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I could do am nmap scan if it helps? Thanks for trying, so the number of players doesn't matter then. Please try this new version (please double check whether the storage permission is enabled if you just see a white screen): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bURTqCq9MPaZNYalGKDh-aRnJofM-dH-/view?usp=sharing This one by default disables auto discover, you need to specify the IP address of the LMS server, then press the "Retrieve Player Data from Server" button to get a list of players. If that works, you can try to enable auto discover, see if the app crashes or misbehaves. If still the case, please send me the log file again (better to delete the old log file before running this version). [SlimDevices: Plugins] Problem with Spotty Spotify Authorization
Hi all together, since a few weeks I have a problem with the spotty plugin. I want to authorize the plugin and it's not working. I tried different spotify apps and connect to the autorization device but nothing happens. If I want to use my user name and the password the lms web interface hangs and I have to reboot my server. I use a familiy premium account. My logfile with extensions, plugins and spotty using "debug" shows the following: Code: [21-12-23 11:08:42.6345] main::init (390) Starting Logitech Media Server (v8.3.0, 1640154119, Thu 23 Dec 2021 12:18:52 AM CET) perl 5.028001 - x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi [21-12-23 11:10:35.0602] Plugins::Spotty::AccountHelper::renameCacheFolder (145) Trying to rename __AUTHENTICATE__ to [21-12-23 11:10:35.0603] Plugins::Spotty::AccountHelper::renameCacheFolder (147) Error: No newId found in '__AUTHENTICATE__' [21-12-23 11:10:35.0604] Plugins::Spotty::AccountHelper::renameCacheFolder (147) Backtrace: frame 0: Slim::Utils::Log::logBacktrace (/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotty/AccountHelper.pm line 147) frame 1: Plugins::Spotty::AccountHelper::renameCacheFolder (/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotty/Settings/Auth.pm line 174) frame 2: Plugins::Spotty::Settings::Auth::cleanup (/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotty/Settings.pm line 60) frame 3: Plugins::Spotty::Settings::handler (/usr/share/perl5/Slim/Web/HTTP.pm line 1171) frame 4: Slim::Web::HTTP::generateHTTPResponse (/usr/share/perl5/Slim/Web/HTTP.pm line 933) frame 5: Slim::Web::HTTP::processURL (/usr/share/perl5/Slim/Web/HTTP.pm line 728) frame 6: Slim::Web::HTTP::processHTTP (/usr/share/perl5/Slim/Networking/IO/Select.pm line 122) frame 7: (eval) (/usr/share/perl5/Slim/Networking/IO/Select.pm line 118) frame 8: Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (/usr/share/perl5/Slim/Networking/IO/Select.pm line 167) frame 9: (eval) (/usr/share/perl5/Slim/Networking/IO/Select.pm line 167) frame 10: Slim::Networking::IO::Select::loop (/usr/sbin/squeezeboxserver line 734) frame 11: main::idle (/usr/sbin/squeezeboxserver line 684) frame 12: main::main (/usr/sbin/squeezeboxserver line 1228) [21-12-23 11:10:35.0670] Plugins::Spotty::Helper::_findBin (192) Trying helper application: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotty/Bin/i386-linux/spotty [21-12-23 11:10:35.0710] Plugins::Spotty::Helper::_findBin (195) Found helper application: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotty/Bin/i386-linux/spotty [21-12-23 11:10:35.0712] Plugins::Spotty::Helper::_findBin (192) Trying helper application: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotty/Bin/i386-linux/spotty-x86_64 [21-12-23 11:10:35.0738] Plugins::Spotty::Helper::_findBin (195) Found helper application: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/Spotty/Bin/i386-linux/spotty-x86_64 [21-12-23 11:10:49.3513] Plugins::Spotty::Connect::DaemonManager::initHelpers (90) Checking Spotty Connect helper daemons...
