Hi Michael, First of all thank you for developing this wonderful plugin. I am also experiencing the same reported issue since a few days (Location: Germany): When selecting a playlist for playback trough spotty, it keeps skipping through all tracks - no playback at all. I was hoping tidal would allow me to do the same and looking in the fronted (material) I can see the external_id for tidal tracks is set up the same way "wimp:album:123456". It's simpler than that: you can take a "share" link from TIDAL like eg. https://tidal.com/browse/album/218503127. This should then load the album. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'm having troubles playing back native Ogg on endpoints that do support Ogg decoding. Easiest "solution": turn off native Spotty -> Ogg playback... you won't loose any sound quality, only a few CPU cycles (which a Windows system should have plenty of). I'm having troubles playing back native Ogg on endpoints that do support Ogg decoding. I'm using LMS Version: 8.2.1 - 1639114554 @ Fri Dec 10 07:58:57 WEST 2021 Operating system: Windows 10 - EN - cp1252 Platform Architecture: 8664 Perl Version: 5.14.1 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread Audio::Scan: 1.02 IO::Socket::SSL: 2.068 Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0) Spotty is at version 4.8.0 I found the custom-convert.conf with this content: Code: spt flc * * # RT:{START=--start-position %s} [spotty] -n Squeezebox -c "$CACHE$" --single-track $URL$ --bitrate 320 --disable-discovery --disable-audio-cache $START$ | [flac] -cs --channels=2 --sample-rate=44100 --bps=16 --endian=little --sign=signed --fast --totally-silent --ignore-chunk-sizes - spt mp3 * * # RB:{BITRATE=--abr %B}T:{START=--start-position %s} [spotty] -n Squeezebox -c "$CACHE$" --single-track $URL$ --bitrate 320 --disable-discovery --disable-audio-cache $START$ | [lame] -r --silent -q $QUALITY$ $BITRATE$ - - spt pcm * * # RT:{START=--start-position %s} [spotty] -n Squeezebox -c "$CACHE$" --single-track $URL$ --bitrate 320 --disable-discovery --disable-audio-cache $START$ proxy spt pcm,ogg spt ogg * * # RT:{START=--start-position %s} [spotty-ogg] -n Squeezebox -c "$CACHE$" --single-track $URL$ --bitrate 320 --disable-discovery --disable-audio-cache --pass-through $START$ With this, under Server Settings/File Types I see Spotty-->Ogg Vorbis as disabled and greyed out, I cannot change it. Logs display the following: Slim::Player::TranscodingHelper::checkBin (301)couldn't find binary for: spotty-ogg If I remove everything from custom-convert.conf and leave only: Code: spt ogg * * # RT:{START=--start-position %s} [spotty-ogg] -n Squeezebox -c "$CACHE$" --single-track $URL$ --bitrate 320 --disable-discovery --disable-audio-cache --pass-through $START$ Under Server Settings/File Types Spotty-->Ogg Vorbis is no longer disabled and it refers to spotty.exe. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Start Tidal Playlist/Album from CLI / API
I'm currently switching over from spotify to tidal and trying to migrate all my automations in home assistant. I use the CLI quite a lot to start certain playlists/albums automatically. With spotify I only had to call the command "playlist" with the parameters "play" and "spotify:album:123456" or "spotify:playlist:123456" with 123456 being the ID of the playlist or album I wanted to play. I was hoping tidal would allow me to do the same and looking in the fronted (material) I can see the external_id for tidal tracks is set up the same way "wimp:album:123456". However calling this via cli with the exact same parameters as spotify does not start the playback. I also tried "tidal:album:123456" just in case but that also didn't work. So how can I find the ID to trigger a tidal playlist or album? sillywalks's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72637 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116065 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Radio Paradise Lossless Streaming (Plugin v2)
Michael is far better at solving your issue than I, but I thought I would mention something simple to check. Whenever (the only time) I have had problems with RP Interactive it came as a result of a power failure where my picore server would come back up faster than my modem restablished an internet connection (that picore looks for on boot). It's funny because the regular stream would play, but the album art/song info would not. The result is "time" got messed up, and interactive stream uses this, where the regular stream does not (warning - over simplification). It was obvious that there was a power failure when I would come home, because the clock screen saver was black. No time -> no display. So, I knew there was a power failure while I was gone (they are frequent at my cabin). If you haven't, try rebooting your server. Not sure what your hardware is.
