Okay, I got iPeng on my iPhone and I like it - I think? I use Rhapsody and XM a lot. I'm finding it difficult to simply pick a song and play it. Here's what tends to happen: 1) I click the song and get details, with options to add to library and such, but no play option 2) I click the song and nothing happens 3) I click the song, and it gets added to the playlist of the current player, but still doesn't play 4) Sometimes some huge, seemingly random list of songs gets added to my playlist on the current player I encounter similar issues with XM. I'm guessing there's some fundamental thing I'm missing with iPeng, like a mode of operations or something. Any help/ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Or is iPeng just not well suited to Rhapsody and XM and other on-line music sources (versus my own MP3/FLAC library)? Any idea what happened? I can log in via the web site, but uXM and the XM Plugin don't work at all. uXM says it can't log in anymore. [SlimDevices: Plugins] XM won't log in anymore?
I can log in from the XM web page and play just fine, but sometime between last night and this morning, the uXM application and XM plug in say my log in is invalid. Any ideas? Good, so not just me... Now, anyone know how to debug this? I'm guessing either: a) the host has changed, and for some reason all these tools use the same host (except the website) b) some part of the discovery protocal has changed c) somehow they are blocking non-web streamers If it's (a), we can work around that with a hosts file update. If it's (b), we have to wait for updates to the tools (and unfortunately the older tools like uXM will likely never work again). Any idea how much a Sirius internet-only subscription is? I have XM, but I'm really going nuts not having it from my radios. That's 50% of why I purchased this system. Why Logitech/Squeezebox only supports Sirius natively, and not XM, is beyond me. But it appears we'll get regular updates from them, versus relying on the overworked and underpaid volunteer commmunity. I think it's great that people are willing to do this, but somehow I don't think this will be the last time something like this happens, and we'd probably be in a better position using something officially supported with the boxes, right? Every time I go to the plug in page, it tells me it needs to restart. So I restart it, and it says it needs to restart again. Made the changes myself, as I really needed this plugin to work if I was going to outfit my house with SBs. Just tested, works perfectly. I changed a few things: - The XML registration file needed some tweaking - The directory structure changed (although I'm not sure that was required) - A couple of the calls needed to be tweaked I just used another (working) plug-in as a model, and made IRBlaster look the same. XM doesn't seem to be playable from the SB's at all? I've got the plug-in loaded in SC, I've added a couple of favorites, they attempt a connect, but then I get a "WMA Convert Error" on the Duet remote. >From SC they do nothing, except the song title properly changes. >From a SB3 I don't think they do anything. Any thoughts? Switching to the "Classic" UI didn't seem to do anything but remove album art from the Duet remote.
