Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl

2011-08-19 Thread AndreE

Hi All,

What I’ve observed from many forums and also from myself’s behavior. We
tend to come to the forum when problem hits us and quite often forget
about it when life gets back to normal.

I’ve done some upgrades recently on my landscape moving some parts
around.
And what I’ve realized that the migration to newer releases and
especially update of this plug-in went smoothly and with no any issue.
Now whole landscape works well with no any problem.

I just stopped here for a second to say my personal BIG thanks for the
work you do, for support I had some day back when I also went through
the learning pain, and for the plug-in, that works perfectly for me and
my family.

Andrey

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl

2010-03-04 Thread AndreE

I had not exactly the same issue, but similar behavior – this was due to
"Auto recognition" in the network – my player just connected to the
Server immediately when it was up. – had to deactivate it in the server
settings – maybe it is the same?

if you would decide to go for clean-up
- I would suggest to start a new thread and block this one
- it is already too big to read and follow
Of course you have all rights to decide, I gust may suggest

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl

2010-03-03 Thread AndreE

it looks like I did install it from "released" version

my suggestion would be to update the first post(s) where the link was
presented to the repository (which seams to be obsolete)

will try to change it later and see how it works

how I can deactivate installed version if it does not show me any
option anymore

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl

2010-03-02 Thread AndreE

... it looks like plug-in works fine...
server just stopped instantly
system.log has:::

sudo: squeezeboxserver : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/ ; USER=root ;
COMMAND=/usr/sbin/pm-suspend

meaning... it was a plug-in...

good news: it works, bad news ... something is still wrong :-)
