Here, it is working with the new weather.com plugin. However, after every server restart, I have to enable it again (via Extras/Custom Clock/SDT Weather) or all weather data stays empty. Any thoughts? Hi, I am using TrackStat for a while now and would like to have some statistic summary like most played song, most played album, songs in order of play-count, I know that the info is there and that I can see it per file and do playlist generation etc. with it, but I have not found a way to visualize all the statistic info. I would like to see the info via webinterface or via other GUI/frontend. Is there a way to do that? Hmm, I have the default Windows 7 firewall on the laptop and a firewall on the fritzbox router. Thanks to all of you for the tips. Some delay due to the streaming will be okay - I do not want to have video in sync, just output any audio. I already know this sync delay from my abit airpace - there it was 300..500msec. Having to do the headphone jack-trick will be a more severe restriction - that was different with the separate airpace driver where I did not have to do hardware changes. Ok, I got VLC to accept my sound device (it's really tricky to shorten the name until it fits - until then you always get messages like "VLC cannot use the device "Stereo (IDT High Definition Au", because its type is not supported."). I also managed to record from this device (only via audacity, did not know how to do it in VLC). But I did not get squeezebox to play the stream. I entered http://192.168.1.9:8079/st.mp3 in the squeezeserver (192.168.1.9 as my notebook ip address that runs VLC and provides the stream). Nothing happened. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Stream soundcard output from Notebook to Squeezeserver?
Hi all, from time to time I would like to stream all the soundcard output from my notebook to my squeeze system. I have the following configuration: - notebook with win7 - squeezeserver 7.1 running on a squeezeplug Until now I have used a device called "airpace music" that got a stream via WiFi (special driver on the notebook) and was connected to my AV-Receiver, but I think this should also be possible with squeezeserver. I have seen that there are options to stream a CD from a PC to squeezeserver via CDplayer (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47288) There is also a plugin called WaveInput (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?p=205598), but so far my understanding is that squeezeserver must run on the PC that should stream. At least I haven't managed to get it to work. Hi all, I have a Touch and really mostly use it for music. But as there are some weather-screensavers and other info screens available, I am asking if the Touch could also display photovoltaic graphs provided by solarlog, a photovolatic web-logger. It would be quite convenient to see the actual solar power on the touch without having to start the notebook browser. Of course the user base won't be too big as there might not be too many people owning a Touch and a photovoltaic system and a solarlog weblogger...
