Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.3.0 - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
@Michael: I found in the logs just once this line: Code: Slim::Utils::PluginDownloader::extract (83) unable to install Spotty - /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/DownloadedPlugins/Spotty.zip does not exist Which is a bit strange for I tried a lot of times to install Spotty (and there is no other error-message), and the filename should be Spotty-2.4.1.zip I know, this is not an issue for Spotty but LMS - but maybe you know someone who can check the error-handling in LMS ... ;) Walter Omar Hawk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56852 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108898 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I uninstalled Spotty and reinstalled it the "normal" way (via web interface) - it worked fine! Walter Omar Hawk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56852 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108898 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Strange - my post a few hours ago has not been made visible so far (a moderator has to approve) - so I give it a try again: The way I was able to install Spotty manually is: - Install Spotty via the webinterface - when the messagebox (Restart LMS now or later) appears copy the ZIP from http://www.herger.net to the DownloadedPlugins directory - set permissions for the ZIP (sudo 666 Spotty-2.4.1.zip) - then restart LMS Walter Omar Hawk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56852 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108898 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I managed to install Spotty by manually downloading the file from http://www.herger.net/_data/Spotty-2.4.1.zip (and copying it to /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/DownloadedPlugins). @ Michael - can you check the ZIP?
