[SlimDevices: Plugins] Napster has stopped working since it merged with Rhapsody
I have not been able to get Napster to work with my squeezebox since it merged with Rhapsody. I get the error no free plays remaining for on the Squeezebox Boom. Any ideas? [SlimDevices: Plugins] ipeng problem with napster
This is a strange one. I have a squeezebox Boom in the Kitchen, a squeezebox in the living room and a squeezebox Radio in the bedroom. Two of these are fine, but the Squeezebox Boom is giving me some problems. When I try to access My Apps on ipengHD I get the message this player is already registered to another user. If it was purchased from someone, ask them to delete the player from their account and try again. If not please visit www.mysqueezebox.com/support for assistance. I get the same error when I use Squeezepad but when I use a browser on my laptop there is no problem. My Music source is an imac and I have updated the logitech media server software to 7.7.2 I have also tried to reset the Squeezebox Boom to factory settings Any other ideas? I have just realised that my player is not listed under players in www.mysqueezebox.com It seems that, for some reason, mysqueezebox thinks the player is registered to somebody else. I bought it new and it's been fine for two years. Any ideas? If you don't have access to the MySB account it'S now assigned to, I believe you need to contact Logitech Support and tell them your Boom's MAC address to get the account data fixed. I believe there also have been times when they had issues with broken data on MySqueezebox.com, maybe your Boom got hit by something like that. So how about this for a report, is it clear enough? This is a problem that shows up when using 3rd party apps such as ipeng and squeeze pad. When I can search napster from ipeng and when you find the album you want you can hold your finger on the album and save it to favourites. Recently this feature has stopped working properly, instead of saving the favourite under the album name it saves it under the name albums. As far as I can see there is no way of changing the name of the favourite afterwards. Pippin also says that unless I can replicate it on the Logitech app they are unlikely to care. I guess I'll have to stick to adding favourites with a browser and then selecting them with ipeng. Hello, It's me again! I have been using ipeng HD since it was released and ipeng before that, I have also bought squeezepad but usually use ipeng. I use my squeezeboxes with Napster and now hardly bother playing music on my network, usually streaming instead. I love the way that I can search napster from ipeng and when you find the album you want you can hold your finger on the album and save it to favourites. Recently this feature has stopped working properly, instead of saving the favourite under the album name it saves it under the name album. As far as I can see there is no way of changing the name of the favourite afterwards. Any suggestions? I have tried the 30 day free trial of Napster and am getting the error problem: unable to play file type LONGFILENAME.wma I was using squeezebox 7.4.1 but have just updated to 7.5 beta and I'm getting the same results. I am using a Boom with a squeezebox controller and/or ipeng on my ipod touch. I have just got somewhere, it seems that Napster works fine on the Boom but the problem occurs when the Squeezebox2 I also have is on too and Synchronised with the Boom. Could it be a firmware problem with the SB2? How do I update the firmware? I have found how to update the firmware (hold brightness button) but I still get an error when playing Napster files on the squeezebox 2.
